A man who spent $15,000 to become a dog has delighted his fans after he revealed that he has a new friend he can play with!

The Japanese man, whose human name remains unknown, but goes by Toco when he's dressed as a dog, seems to have found the key to happiness in canine form.

Confessing that it has been a dream of his for many years, Toco now has a stable income to support his aspirations, and has turned his lifelong dream into a tangible reality.

To fully embrace his canine persona, Toco invested a staggering $15,000 in an elaborate and incredibly realistic dog costume.

The masterpiece, crafted by the Japanese company Zeppet, boasts such lifelike features that it's almost impossible to tell the human inside from the genuine animal.

Toco has been open in the past about his desire to have a companion... and perhaps this has finally come to fruition.

Recently, Toco realized his dream of meeting other enthusiasts by introducing a new companion, a fellow dog cosplayer dressed as a husky, in his latest video.

The videos, shared with Toco’s over 70,000 YouTube subscribers, show the two costumed canines engaging in playful activities, including shaking paws, rolling over, and playing tug-of-war with a chew toy.

In one video, they even mimic each other's dance moves, showcasing their camaraderie.

The identity of Toco’s new friend remains unknown, but the online community has embraced their partnership.

One person commented: "I'm glad that you found someone that you can trust to help you bring two dogs to life!"

A second person said: "Its so awsome seeing two People doing what they have always dreamt about! Being a dog seems fun!"

A third added: "Both of these puppers are too precious for this world!"

Psychologists describe Toco as a "therian", someone who identifies as a nonhuman species. This distinguishes him from "furries" a subculture where people dress as animals for sexual gratification.

Per the New York Post, Toco explained his choice of the collie breed: "The reason I chose a collie dog breed specifically is primarily because I like raising them.

"Secondly, because if it wasn’t a naturally large size breed, it wouldn’t look unnaturally disproportionate when worn by someone as a costume."

His realistic costume often draws attention when he ventures outside, with many people stopping to stare or interact with the human dog.

Toco hopes to leverage his viral fame into a movie career and dreams of starring in films as a dog.

Although Toco keeps his double life a secret from friends and colleagues to avoid being labeled "weird," his family is aware of his unique pastime.

His journey began two and a half years ago when he commissioned a company to create the realistic dog costume, which took about six months to complete.

Despite the physical toll of spending the day walking on all fours, Toco finds the experience overwhelmingly positive.

"Rather than being tough or physically uncomfortable, the feelings of excitement and fun I receive from this experience are stronger," he told the New York Post.

We hope Toco has a great time playing with his new friend!
