A man whose Starbucks order went viral after a barista complained about it on Twitter has broken his silence.
In a since-deleted tweet, 22-year-old Starbucks employee Josie Morales uploaded a picture of an extremely specific drinks order that boasted several custom requests - captioning it: "On today's episode of why I wanna quit my job."
The large receipt shows that a customer called "Edward" asked for 13 sugary ingredients in his Frappuccino.
However, in a new interview with New York Post, the project manager and home health care aide responsible for the order (identified only as Edward) has remained unapologetic about his demands.
Edward, who bought the drink on May 1, stated: "I don't see a reason why I wouldn’t order a drink like this again. I just ordered another drink just like it yesterday."
He added that, after viewing Morales' post, he managed to find the funny side of it. Edward told the publication:
"Once I was made aware that my order had gone viral, I found Josie on Instagram and reached out to make sure he didn’t get into any trouble for posting it. I wanted to let him know that he didn’t do anything wrong."

Edward concluded: "It's fine to keep ordering these specialty drinks from Starbucks. As long as you take care of the people who make the drinks by giving them a decent tip, then everyone should be happy."
Morales' original tweet showed a receipt for a double blended Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino, with the following extras:
5 Banana
Ex Caramel Drizzle
Extra Whip
Extra Ice
Ex Cinn Dol Top
7 pumps Add Dk Crml Sauce
Ex Caramel Crunch
1 pump Honey Blend

The post racked up over 336,000 likes and 52,000 retweets from other Twitter users before being deleted.
Take a look at Morales' TikTok video here:Morales later shared a video of himself driving to work in his Starbucks uniform on TikTok and seemingly voiced further complaints about pedantic customers.
The disgruntled employee captioned the clip: "On my way to get verbally harassed by Karens. Because I didn't make their overpriced venti skinny vanilla latte, no foam, extra-hot, extra-whip, upside down, made with devil's tears the RIGHT WAY and their cup of water. [sic]"
New York Post reports that the barista was subsequently fired by the coffee chain over these social media posts.

Responding to the incident, a Starbucks spokesperson later told Fox News: "Customizing beverages at Starbucks and our baristas' expertise in helping customers find and craft the right beverage has, and always will be, the heart of the Starbucks Experience.
"There are many ways for customers to modify their favorite beverage at Starbucks and most customizations are reasonable requests from customers."
