Police in the town of Morecombe in England are currently on the lookout for two men, who were allegedly caught on camera licking their hands and smearing them over food in a supermarket this week.

According to a recent report by the Lancashire Post, the incident in question is thought to have occurred at around 1.45 pm, on Saturday, April 4. The pair disturbed and outraged other shoppers by appearing to contaminate meat, fresh produce and fridge handles with their own saliva.

Recently this influencer was hospitalised just a few days after filming himself licking a toilet:

Local police investigators have since appealed to the public for information regarding the identities of the two perpetrators, releasing images of them both to social media.

Both men appear to be in their twenties, with black hair and facial hair. They were both wearing black tracksuit trousers, and grey sneakers at the time of the incident, while one also wore a black jacket.

Commenting on the incident in a later interview with the Lancashire Post, police Inspector James Martin stated: "That anyone could think this sort of behavior is appropriate or amusing even in normal times is beyond me but at this time of crisis when many people have been faced with empty shelves in some shops is flabbergasting. It is utterly despicable and I would appeal for anyone who knows who these people are to get in touch."

Martin went on to add: "I would also urge the individuals involved to do the right thing and come forward to speak to us – you must surely know that what you have done is wrong. During this current time, we have seen many examples of people displaying the very best of humanity. This pair are sadly displaying some of the worst."
