A video has emerged of an unfazed man continuing to eat chicken wings, despite being robbed at gunpoint.
Per Indy100, the footage was recorded on the surveillance camera of a fried chicken restaurant at around 9:45 PM on Thursday, June 17.
As you can see in the brief clip below, it begins with a man wearing a motorcycle helmet and a grey t-shirt entering the eatery while the other patrons are dining.
Take a look at the shocking video of the incident right here:This robber was armed with what appears to be a snub nose revolver - which he used to intimidate the other customers into handing over their personal effects.
However, one man in particular remained seated; finishing his meal and handing over his valuables to the thief with apparent nonchalance.
The footage ends with the mugger leaving as calmly and quietly as he arrived, while unaffected diner continues to scarf down on fried chicken despite the general commotion all around him.
Yet this isn't the first time that an unlikely situation has been captured by the cameras of a fast-food chain.
For instance, back in 2019, a video emerged on social media showing an employee from a Popeye's restaurant in Columbia, Tennessee, body-slamming a female customer.
Watch this video of the body-slamming incident:According to local news agency WSMV, 29-year-old Popeye's employee Deriance Ra’Shaiel Hughes was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault for attacking Debra Staggs after she allegedly used a racial slur against him.
Staggs' lawyer, Rocky McElhaney, told the above publication that his client had been charged $13.11 for a meal of apple pies, corn, biscuits, and chicken, and had demanded a refund. Her refund was refused, which then led to the altercation.
Commenting on the incident, a Popeyes spokesperson later stated: "These actions run completely contrary to our standards and the integrity of our brand.
"Following an investigation, the franchisee took immediate action and we were informed that the employee has since been terminated. The entire circumstance is highly unfortunate for all involved, and we hope to never see this type of behavior again."
