The cause of death for a bride who 'died in the arms of her lover' while on their honeymoon has finally been revealed.

Madison Noronha, from New South Wales in Australia, was celebrating the start of her marriage to her husband Kyle in Amsterdam when she collapsed while out on a walk.

The incident, which took place last Wednesday, resulted in Noronha being transported to a hospital for major surgery, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her internal injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after.

The couple tied the knot on April 21, 2023, and footage from the event showed the happiness on Kyle's face knowing he was going to spend the rest of his life with the woman that he loves.

That time was tragically cut short due to this unexpected health issue.

Speaking of the incident on social media, Kyle stated that his wife "fought until the very end."

"The doctors could not believe the size of the aneurysm and nothing could prevent this from happening and nothing could be done to save her," he wrote in a post on Facebook.

"Madi fought like she always does right to the very end. She passed away in my arms surrounded by all her loved ones at 10:59PM here in Amsterdam," he continued, before adding: "My darling wife I cannot comprehend what has happened, I'm in a million pieces. Forever and always babe."

It was confirmed that Noronha suffered from a bleed in her brain which doctors weren't able to alleviate the pressure from.

A GoFundMe page was set up on behalf of the campaign design specialist's family, with the description that all of her loved ones are "left heart broken."

"Madi’s parents have graciously agreed to let us create this page, to help raise money to ease the financial stress and burden off the family during this incredibly difficult time," the description continued. "Funds raised will help with flights, funeral costs and to help bring our beloved Madison home to be laid to rest."

In only one day, over $60,000 (AUD) has been raised for the family, which has exceeded the original $50,000 target.

Kind messages have also been pouring in, with many left devastated by the tragedy.

"My heart is absolutely broken for you and your families. Madi was so loved and will be missed. She was such a beautiful person inside and out," one person wrote on the fundraiser, while another added: "Sending lots of love and strength to you all."

A third also commented: "I'm so sorry Kyle. She absolutely adored you. Thank you for looking after our Madi. Sending you so much love and strength."

Our thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.
