Greta Thunberg has taken to Twitter to expertly shut down Senator Ted Cruz.

This comes after the 18-year-old climate change activist also trolled former president Donald Trump as he left the White House for the very last time.

Taking aim at Trump on Biden's inauguration day, Thunberg tweeted: "He seems like a very happy old man looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!"

Per The Independent, the mocking comment was a reversal of Trump’s own words about the Swede following her address to the Davos summit in January last year.

At that time, Trump tweeted: "She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!"

Next on Thunberg's list was Cruz, after he criticized Joe Biden's decision to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement, which was created to tackle global climate change.

However, Cruz went about it in a very bizarre way, tweeting:

"By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh.

"This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans."

Needless to say, Cruz's words were a testament to just how little he understands the agreement, as it has very little to do with Paris itself, and has about as much to do with Pittsburgh.

Instead, it was created to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius, but ideally keep it below 1.5 degrees Celsius, per Unfccc.int.

Thankfully, Greta was quick on the case and trolled Cruz with his own words, sarcastically writing: "So happy that USA has finally rejoined the Pittsburgh Agreement. Welcome back!"

Thunberg's second prominent Twitter troll of the week went down a storm on the social media site, and people were quick to praise her for mocking the 50-year-old for his misunderstanding of the agreement.

One Twitter user rightfully pointed out: "I wonder when Ted Cruz will figure out that Paris and Pittsburgh are both on the same planet, and that it is in serious trouble."

A second added: "The inhabitants of Pittsburgh must be so proud that their opinion is finally valued again. Has been 4 long years."

Meanwhile, a third pointed out: "Greta's got strong troll game."

Whereas a fourth simply remarked that, as it stands, Thunberg's dragging of US government officials is unrivaled: "Love that a teenager from Sweden uniquely and effectively drags US government officials on a regular basis, 0 competition."

Thunberg's actions come after Biden signed an executive order for the US to rejoin Paris Climate Accord less than a day after being sworn in as president.
