OnlyFans owner Leonid Radvinsky dies aged 43
OnlyFans owner Leonid Radvinsky has passed away at the age of 43.
The subscription-based company announced the Ukrainian-American billionaire's death in a statement, which read: "We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky.
"Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer."
"His family have requested privacy at this difficult time," they added.
Radvinsky, a notoriously private figure, acquired Fenix International, the parent company of OnlyFans, in 2018 for an undisclosed amount.
His purchase came two years after the platform was launched by British father and son duo Guy and Tim Stokely.
The site saw explosive growth during lockdown periods.
While OnlyFans maintains that not all content is sexually explicit, its rise has largely been driven by user-generated adult material.
Creators on the platform can share photos and videos behind a paywall, with subscribers paying a monthly fee for access.
They can also earn additional income through tips and pay-per-view content.
In 2019, OnlyFans processed $319 million in payments. By 2023, that figure had surged to over $8 billion.
