Four people have reportedly been wounded in a knife attack near the former offices of Charlie Hebdo - the satirical newspaper.
Police in Paris have said that a suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident.

A Paris police official said that while authorities had initially believed that two people were involved in perpetrating the attack, it is now thought to be only one person, who has been detained near the Bastille plaza in eastern Paris.
The motive of the attack is as yet unclear.
