So,
Piers Morgan is in the news again and - surprise - it isn't for a good reason.
After coming under fire last month for making insensitive and potentially
transphobic remarks to Caitlyn Jenner on his interview-style talk show, Life Stories, the former News of the World editor has now been slammed for making similar comments towards Pamela Anderson.
The 50-year-old former Baywatch star claims that she had a long and in-depth chat with Morgan on a variety of topics, but that the edit was reduced to something rather more rudimentary.

According to Anderson, the full interview with Morgan went on for over three hours, during which time she discussed her topics such as her political activism.
The pair also touched on the actress' support for Julian Assange, with whom she has a particularly strange obsession. Anderson has actually visited the WikiLeaks founder several times during his stay at the Ecuadorian embassy in London and frequently writes about her admiration for him on her blog - so it was something she really wanted to make the final cut.
She says, though, that the interview "was reduced to mainly my body parts and men."
However, in a post on her website, she said: “You won't see this [discussion of Assange] in the final edit. The interview I did was three hours long and it will be cut down to 37 minutes."
She's not exactly shocked about how the interview has been edited to look, though, and says she essentially expected something like this to happen all along.
Moreover, Anderson isn't blaming Morgan alone for the comments he made, as she believes that he was partly just trying to cater to his viewers by asking certain questions.
"It's ITV [the show's network]. Piers is notorious for trying to make everyone happy with a twist of tabloid journalism," she said. "He knows his audience. I just wish differently. Times are changing. People are more aware than ever."
Morgan, on the other hand, denies all accountability for any upset caused by the interview, and claims that the actress was very happy with how the interview went at the time.
"We filmed two months ago and it's a fantastic show," he said. "Pamela thanked me profusely for the interview afterwards. She hasn't seen the final edit and it's a very fair and balanced portrait of her entire life."
But that wasn't all he had to say.

"As for her body parts, Ms Anderson's social media posts regularly feature a celebration of just her world-famous body parts," he added. "So I am surprised she would take exception to me discussing them."
While it's certainly true that
Anderson was known at the beginning of her career for her swimsuit-clad figure, it's not fair to boil a person's "life story" - as the show is meant to be about - to their physical assets. The sorts of things people post on social media are often very different to the types of things that actually matter to them, so to compare one medium to another as justification for focusing on Anderson's "body parts" seems like a weak defense from Morgan.
The interview isn't actually due to air until later on this year, however, so we'll all have to wait until then to see how much of Anderson's serious chat was kept in.
