It's a day ending in 'Y', which means the Kardashians are in the news.
For once, though, it's not about the
new baby. Or the
pregnancy. Or the other pregnancy. Or any theories about the pregnancy (not that one,
the other one) being fake, or a publicity stunt, or anything other than a genuine baby bump.
No, this time it's about Kim not looking like herself - or someone not looking enough like Kim. Look, it'll all make sense in a minute, ok?
Basically, the five Kardashian/Jenner sisters were recently featured in a Calvin Klein campaign, and there was just something slightly
off about it - and I'm not just talking about the decision to put Kourtney in double denim.
The first thing that caught people's attention was the fact that Kylie's baby bump (or lack thereof) was difficult to decipher in one of the images. Then, fans started calling out possible shoddy photoshop jobs, as the advert clearly looks like it was shot in a studio and then edited to make it look like it was in a weird abandoned barn.
But, once they got over those things, another issue emerged:
Kim Kardashian does not look like Kim Kardashian.
Just take a look for yourself if you don't believe me.
I mean, it
sort of looks like her? Like, if it wasn't pointed out to me I probably wouldn't notice - but now that it has been brought to my attention, I can't look away.
Her cheekbones are wider, her nose is broader, and her eyebrows appear to be a completely different shape. Her figure seems to be true to the image we're all familiar with by now, but that would be slightly easier to manipulate on editing software than the face.
Here's a close-up for those who still aren't buying the conspiracy:
Honestly, she looks more like Nicole Scherzinger with lip-fillers than she does a true member of the Kardashian clan.
And once Twitter noticed, they weren't letting it go.
Some blamed the Kylie-obsession for everyone's original lack of noticing:

Normally, I'd be the first to dispel any rumors as the result of fans letting their overactive imaginations get the better of them - but this time I must admit I'm quite convinced. After all, Kim must have been pretty busy recently, what with the new baby and everything, so it's not unreasonable to assume that she couldn't make the shoot.
Plus, someone as famous as her must have a ton of body doubles out there who are just itching for a chance to fill the reality star's shoes - so there would be no shortage of doppelgangers, should a brand need to find one at the last minute.
Whether it's true or not, this is just one more story that can be filed with all the other hundreds of Kardashian conspiracy theories - right between the "
Travis Scott and
Kylie Jenner aren't together anymore" rumor, and the evergreen "Khloe isn't even Robert Kardashian's kid" story.
The only question is: how long will we have to wait until it's debunked?
