Conor McGregor used to be the undisputed king of the fight game but he seems to have lost his way in recent months. Since his eye-watering takings from his boxing debut against
Floyd Mayweather, McGregor has made the headlines for a host of reasons, with none of them involving his talent in the ring and octagon. There's been the back-and-forth with Mayweather and other fighters, the fight in the pub that led to him being
threatened by Irish gangsters, and now this.
Whatever you think of McGregor, whether you love him or loathe him, he always seemed like he had good family values. In many interviews throughout the years, McGregor has banged on about his love for his wife, Dee Devlin, who has stood by his side since his early days as an unemployed MMA fighter in Dublin.

In fact, just this year, McGregor and Devlin gave birth to their first child. The couple has been seen on holiday together with their new baby and McGregor has regularly uploaded photos of the little one onto his social media accounts. So, the fact that the family seem happier than ever, makes this story a little bit confusing, to be honest.

Rita Ora took to Instagram last night to upload a photo of her alongside McGregor and also uploaded a video of the fighter on her Instagram story, with the caption "date night".
Unsurprisingly, social media has gone into meltdown about the photo - with many people questioning what the hell is going on between the two celebrities.

Some people were also quick to criticise Rita Ora for the photo, with people labelling her as a homewrecker among many other things.

McGregor also came under fire for the footage, with Twitter users saying that he needs to remember the fact that he has a wife and child at home.

While the footage may be innocent and it might be that no harm was done in the slightest, its just the latest controversy to surround McGregor in the last few weeks. The fighter has reportedly got involved in a spot of bother in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland. It's being reported that McGregor got involved in a brawl at a pub in Crumlin and it's believed that one of the other men involved had links to a highly violent, criminal family.
While McGregor has stayed relatively coy about the whole incident, it seems like the fame and fortune have gone to his head. Last week, UFC President Dana White alleged that we may have seen the end of Conor McGregor the fighter, saying: "Try to get up and get punched in the face every day when you’ve got $100 million in the bank. Money changes everything for a lot of people."
Whether the rumours regarding McGregor and Rita Ora are true or not, watching McGregor's fall from one of the greatest athletes in the world into a circus act has been cringe-worthy. The sooner he gets back in the game and back to doing what he does best, the better.
