The announcement comes after Microsoft - one of Sony's biggest competitors (and yes, I'm giving Nintendo a shot here) - finally revealed on September 9 that both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will be released on November 10, 2020, at $499 and $299, respectively - with preorders available from September 22.
Per Polygon, Sony held its first major PS5 event back in June, where the tech giants not only revealed the console's sleek design, but also announced some of the upcoming games, which included titles like Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Resident Evil Village, Miles Morales, a remake of Demon’s Souls, and Horizon Forbidden West.
The PlayStation 5 Showcase will be available to stream on Twitch or YouTube this Wednesday.
