If you haven't seen
yet, I implore you to. This isn't necessarily because I think it's a fantastic film (I was actually a little disappointed by it), but it's more because it's all anyone will be talking about for the next month or so.

, Star Wars had an uncanny ability to slip into every conversation in the workplace, cafe, pub or smoker's area. The film is so universally loved and watched that literally every man and his dog has an opinion on it. The consensus
regarding the most recent chapter is that Rose Tico, a new character, was most definitely a highlight.

Rose was played by Kelly Marie Tran and looks set to go on to become a firm fan favourite. Tran also looks likely to become a well-loved celebrity due to her posting a heartwarming and inspiring essay on Instagram after bumping into a group of Star Wars fans at a local pub.
Taking to the social
media site, Tran said:
"A few days ago, I was at a pub eating pie with a friend, when this DELIGHTFUL group of people came in. They sat down at the table next to me and started discussing The Last Jedi — in minute detail. My friend started filming as I listened, and she captured my reaction as they discussed Rose."
"After lots of creepy listening — and eating — I awkwardly walked over to introduce myself. They couldn’t be more lovely. What an incredible moment in a string of incredible moments I’ve been experiencing lately."

Tran took time to take a photo with her new fans who seemed more than happy to meet the newest addition to the Star Wars family. Obviously moved by the interaction, Tran finished her post saying:
"Regardless of opinion or preference, it’s still a topic of discussion. And no matter who we are, no matter where we’re from, if we can really listen and have a conversation about something — anything — it can really open up a door. It can open us up to new ideas and new understanding."
