Terry Crews is a bit like The Rock in the sense that he is one of those people that you just can't help but love. Whether it's his infamous red carpet antics (ripping his shirt of to unveil his sizable muscles), his ability to always see the positives in life, or the fact that he was brave enough to talk about the
sexual harassment that he had received at the hands of a high profile Hollywood executive, Crews seems like an all-around good guy and someone that we can all support.

However, while Crews is largely associated with being a bit of a comedic character, known for his bulging muscles, manic facial expressions and elaborate dance moves, it turns out that there is a lot more to him than meets the eye. In the early stages of his life and when he was heading off to college, Crews received an art, rather than football, scholarship and it appears that he hasn't forgotten how to draw.
AdAge, a magazine surrounding marketing and advertising, has released its year in review in which it takes a look at 50 of the most influential people in the industry. Crews not only features on the list but the cover for the edition has been drawn by none other than the actor himself.

Understandably, many people are in love with the fact that Crews can draw so brilliantly, with many on Twitter praising the multi-talented former football player.

While the revelation about Crews' artistic ability may come as a surprise to some, he had previously appeared on the
Jimmy Kimmel show to discuss his penchant for art and detailed how it helped him in the early stages of his career.
“I come from Flint, Michigan,” Crews told Kimmel. “My first job in entertainment, I drew courtroom sketches for the worst murder case in Flint, Michigan history.” Crews goes on to reveal that when the time came for him to go off to college, it wasn't his ability in the world of sport which got him noticed: “I had an art scholarship before I had a football scholarship,” he explained.

“I would get cut from a team—I played on six teams in seven years, so that happened a lot—so I would go back into the locker room and ask the players if they wanted their portraits painted,” he told Kimmel. “That’s how I survived, I was always on the end of the roster, I was never a big superstar, I was an 11th round draft pick. Humility gets you far. You gotta make some money, you gotta humble yourself…I would literally take me about two months to do a painting, and they would give me like $5,000 and I would survive off that, my whole family survived off that.”
So not only is Crews a talented actor with an incredible physique, he is also an incredibly gifted artist. Some people are too good for this cruel world that we currently reside in, Terry Crews is one of them.
