Kylie Jenner announced her arrival of her baby girl to the world. The 20-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star finally broke her social media hiatus to reveal that she had been pregnant all along and apologised for disappearing off of our newsfeeds while she dealt with the pregnancy.

Kylie released an 11-minute video to accompany the announcement, in which she shed light on what had been going on for the past nine months. In the video, butterfly's were featured prominently, leading to plenty of people speculating that the baby would be called Butterfly or something around that theme.

In the footage contained in the video, Butterflies could be seen on a necklace, sitting beneath another chain which reads 'Baby Girl.'
Also, in a tour of the baby's bedroom, a wall of butterflies was revealed.
However, 24 hours later, Kylie
confirmed the name of the baby. Taking to her Instagram once more, Jenner uploaded a photo of the baby's tiny hand, captioning it 'Stormi Webster.' The internet went into meltdown, with the image becoming the most liked photo in history and it also sparked one of the wildest conspiracy theories to have ever been seen.

Since the arrival of Stormi, Kylie has carried on sharing images with a butterfly theme. First, there was this floral arrangement, which spelt out the name of the newborn in front of a wall of butterflies.
And then this floral arrangement, which was shaped like a butterfly.
Then, back in November, Kylie posted the below photo on Instagram, referencing a photoshoot that many thought would be a gender reveal.

Also, Kylie and
Travis Scott got matching butterfly tattoos back in June - around a month after she got pregnant.
On top of all of this, Scott also has a song titled 'The Butterfly Effect.' Which was released in May last year - the month that Kylie got pregnant.

In the wake of all this butterfly themed build-up to the big reveal, fans have come up with a theory that connects the name Stormi to the butterflies.
People have linked the name to the butterfly effect; a theory which suggests that one tiny incident can drastically change the outcome of an event.
The term is derived from the concept that a tornado can be caused by something as small as the flapping of butterfly wings just several weeks earlier.
Now, while this may currently seem like a load of baloney, bare with me; as this is the good part. What is another name for a tornado? Yes, that's right. Storm... Storm. STORMI.
