The search for Jay Slater has moved to an isolated farm, investigators have said, as a new video from the night of his disappearance has also been shared.

It has now been a week since the 19-year-old was reported missing after failing to return to his accommodation in Tenerife.

Slater had been vacationing with his friends on the Spanish island. After the group attended the NRG music festival, the teen decided to stay out with two British men he had met and went back to their rented home.

The last person Slater spoke to was his friend Lucy Mae Law at 8:15AM on Monday (June 17), telling her he was going on an 11-hour walk back to the apartment after missing the bus. He also revealed that he was thirsty and that his phone battery was low.

It has been reported that the 19-year-old - who is from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire, UK - was wearing a grey t-shirt, black bag, shorts, and trainers at the time of his disappearance.

However, new footage emerged on TikTok and shows Slater dancing topless at a rave hours before he went missing.

The clip is claimed to have been filmed at 1AM on Monday. It is unclear whether the teenager had his top on or not when he left the event, with later pictures seeming to show he did have it on.

Slater's last tracked location was in the Rural de Teno Park, near the village of Masca, a popular hiking area.

On Friday, the search teams meticulously covered a mountain road and focused on a ravine before moving to a valley in the village of Masca.

According to The Independent, investigators have now turned their focus on an area by an isolated farm, combing through bags of rubbish in hopes of finding any clues, but so far, no leads have emerged.

The teen's father, Warren Slater, shared an emotional plea, revealing he hopes that "somebody has helped him off this mountain," per Sky News.

"That's all I want, that somebody has helped him get off this mountain. I just want him back and that's it. He's my son," he said in tears, adding that the past week has been "a nightmare, just a nightmare."

"I just want him back and that's it," he concluded.

Slater's worried mother, Debbie Ducan, was asked how the family was coping with the horrific situation and said: "We’re not. I’m not coping very well at all," per The Independent.

“I’ve not slept, I’m exhausted. It’s been awful," she continued, "I can’t give up on him, I just can’t.”

She also shared a message for her beloved son, saying: "We just need you home – we just need him home.”
