YouTuber Luke Goodwin has tragically passed away after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

The 35-year-old British influencer - who boasted thousands of followers on social media -was best known for his channel I Will Not Be Defeated where he shared updates about his health battle.

On August 6, Goodwin's wife, Beckey, revealed that her husband passed away in an emotional video titled Little Update On Our Warrior.

Watch the video below:

Speaking directly to the camera, Beckey began: “This is a video that I never wanted to do."

"[Luke] passed away peacefully, he was at home, he had me and his mum and his dad all by his side. Luke is at peace now, he’s not in any pain. All of his followers, you have all been absolutely amazing, you all kept his headstrong," she continued.

Beckey praised her other half, noting that he was an "amazing person," and adding: “He showed me how to be strong even when you are going through the toughest times, he was just amazing, an amazing dad, son, and husband."

“It’s still rather raw at the minute, but you’ve got to keep your head strong. That’s what Luke would say," she concluded.

In August 2022, Goodwin - from Grimsby, England - was diagnosed with stage 4 Leiomyosarcoma, which is a rare cancer that grows in the smooth muscles, like those found in your stomach, bladder, uterus, intestines, and blood vessels, per Cleveland Clinic.

Although the disease can be treated if caught early enough, Goodwin was informed by doctors that his case was terminal and he only had a year to live. However, he exceeded that diagnosis by undergoing numerous rounds of chemotherapy.

Last month (July 18), the social media personality shared his final heartbreaking video on the platform, which was about how his condition was deteriorating. He titled it: “End of life. Feel like death is on me…”

“It’s really been f***ing hard… never felt anything like it,” Luke said. “I’ve been out of breath, sick, phlegm, you name it. But I am on the mend, I will not be defeated.”

Many fans flocked to the comment section of his final video to share their condolences.

"Sending prayers for comfort for your family. Luke you helped so many by sharing your journey. You are loved and you will be missed," one person penned.

"Luke was the strongest of the strong. A lovely person and inspiration to many. He’s still only a whisper away. Safe happy and pain free until he’s with his family again. You made ‘ Your People’ very proud Luke," a second said.

A third wrote: "RIP Luke you [taught] me a lot about life and how to fight to the end you have helped so [many] people out there Love and hugs to your family you all touched my soul."

The YouTuber dedicated his social media platform to organizing charity events and raising money and awareness for those who are dealing with the same disease.

He is survived by his parents, his wife, and their two children: Taylor, five, and Scarlett, three.

Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this time.
