The World's Tallest Teen has stunned social media users - yet again - with his height growth.

Back in 2021, Guinness World Records announced that then-15-year-old Olivier Rioux was the tallest teenager in the world.

According to the world's records page, the Canadian was born weighing 3.4kg (7.5 pounds) before growing to 7.26kg (16 pounds) in his first month, By the time he reached the fifth grade, he already stood at 5 feet 2 inches tall.

Doctors believed Rioux would peak at around six-foot-five, but little did they know that he would completely surpass that at the age of 15, reaching an astonishing 226.9 cm (7 feet and 5.33 inches).

The now-18-year-old, who played high school basketball at IMG Academy in Florida before committing to the Gators, is continuing to break his own height record.

This week, it was announced that Rioux was measured at a staggering seven feet nine inches tall, or 236cm tall. Oh, and he also wears a size 20 shoe!

Videos of the tall teen towering over his opponents and dunking without jumping have now gone viral and led to shocked reactions from users.

One user wrote: "He doesn't even need to jump! Sheesh!" and a second user added: "It’s absolutely insane how well he moves at 7-foot-9. Wow!"

A third quipped: "He makes it look like he’s playing against a bunch of middler schoolers," while a fourth shared: "What's impressive is his build at 7'9". Looks hella athletic."

The entire Rioux family boasts tall genes, with the teen's father standing at 6'8", his mother at 6'2," and his older brother at 6'9".

Guinness World Records penned on their official page: “With the whole Rioux family being tall, Olivier’s childhood home was updated to accommodate everyone’s stature. Tabletops, and ceilings are all higher than average."

"The only thing that remains the same is the doorframes, which have seen their fair share of collisions with the top of Olivier’s head," they continued. “As a child, Olivier spent hours looking through his Guinness World Records books, studying the tallest people, and comparing himself to every record holder."

"After failing to find someone taller than him in the 2015 and 2016 editions of the books, Olivier was inspired to achieve the title himself and recalls being 'emotionally shocked and relieved that (he) finally got it!'" the page concluded.

Per 247Sports Composite, Rioux is a three-star prospect, just ranking outside the top 300 players in the nation for the 2024 recruiting class.

He is also ranked as the 53rd-best center in the country and the No. 27 player in the state of Florida.

The teenager will enroll this fall in Gainesville and join a Gators team that reached the NCAA Tournament last season, per Daily Mail.
