You let them grow inside you for nine months, nurture and feed them, and oh, spend extortionate amounts of money on them – but you can still "
never"
do anything right. Yes, parenting can be tough. And when it's not your own child giving you grief, it's all the other parents out there;
casually slipping in the fact that they prepare their little cherubs green juices in the morning, and that they only get one hour of screen time each day.
The latest victim of parent shaming is none other than
professional American footballer, Tom Brady. The 40-year-old recently caught the attention of the internet after he was seen kissing his 11-year-old son for an uncomfortable amount of time in the third instalment of his Facebook documentary series, Tom vs Time. And people certainly had
a lot
to say about it.

According to some, Tom Brady took parental affection a little too far in the third instalment of Tom vs Time. The New England Patriots Quarterback was shown getting a massage when his 11-year-old son, Jack Brady entered the room and asked to check on his fantasy football team. "What do I get?" Brady replied.
Jack leaned over and gave his father a quick kiss on the lips. But just as he was exiting the room, Brady said: "That was like a peck". Jack came back and kissed him again, for what some people thought was an inappropriate amount of time. Watch the moment below, beginning at 9:55.

As one could expect, responses from both sides have been extreme. While some parents took no issue with the kiss, telling naysayers to "get their minds out of the gutter", others went so far as to call Brady a "psychopath".
One Twitter user wrote, "
kissing his 11 year old kid on the lips and then complaining that it was 'barely a peck' forcing him to go back for a another, longer, weirder kiss on the lips is an absolute psychopath move", while another added, "Tom Brady is one of my five favourite people (including family members), but him making his son come back and kiss him on the lips for a longer time because his first lip kiss wasn't long enough is some very very disturbing".
Others, however, didn't see the issue in the kiss, writing "Anyone who feels it was inappropriate for Tom Brady to kiss his 11 year old son should get their mind out of the gutter. All I see is a loving dad... and last I checked, that was a good thing." And another individual corroborated, "Now we've reached the point where we criticize how Tom Brady shows affection to his children. What a time to be alive."

While it's pretty evident that Tom Brady has a lot of love for his children, I guess the haters 'gotta
find
something
to
hate.
