We all know that a lot of stuff in women’s magazines isn’t true: monogrammed socks aren’t this season’s hottest trend, that new magic hair potion won’t make you feel like a million bucks, and you probably shouldn't quit your job to become an Instagrammer. Yet we continue to buy them, even those of us who - and I’m very much including myself in this - like to pretend we’re better than them. Somehow, when we’re in the line drugstore queue at an airport, or are planning a nice hot bath, or when they have a decent freebie attached, they just kind of fall into the shopping basket. Whoops. And once they’re purchased, we read them. Every last page. Even the advice pages, which we know will only serve to leave us questioning our life choices. So, to bring us all back down to earth, we decided to dig out some treasures that prove that not only are magazine advice pages often wrong, they're also really, really stupid. Prepare to cringe.
You can’t catch HIV in the missionary position - Cosmo
Cosmo's advice is so notoriously bad that there's an actual Reddit forum dedicated to the matter, but back in 1988 they actually told readers that they couldn’t catch HIV if they had sex in the missionary position, despite science having already disproved this. Can you even imagine a magazine today just chucking out the words “Don’t bother with condoms, just do it missionary”?

You should drink nothing but goats’ milk for eight days - Goop
Forget about doctors. Who needs them? If you happen to have a parasite - which, according to Goop, there's every chance you do - an eight day goats’ milk cleanse, topped up with some herbs, is the perfect way to cure it. Now, Goop, which started life as a blog run by Gwyneth Paltrow, have never exactly been known for being down to earth and in touch with the everyday woman, but recommending that it works even better with fresh, raw goats' milk - as in freshly squeezed from the udders of the goat - is about as helpful as a chocolate teapot, really.
Apparently, if you live in LA, “you have to do it”. And while Gwennie may be able to afford such treatments to create an “energetic release — not just a steam douche — that balances female hormone levels”, the home version of this is essentially squatting over bowl full of boiled water with a few herbs dropped into it, hoping the steam doesn’t burn your va-jay-jay. Glamorous, huh? Let’s make one thing clear - this has been panned by just about every gynaecologist ever: "There's no scientific evidence that shows it works," stated Dr. Draion Burch, an obstetric gynaecologist based in Pittsburgh.

Acting desperate will find you love - Marie Clare
According to Marie Clare, the best way find love is to: "Send out a mass text. The easiest way to get the word out that you're single (and looking for some action) is by letting everyone know."Nothing says romance like a mass text to everyone in your phone book; nothing says terrifying like receiving a "HIYA I’M SINGLE NOW" text. This is precisely why Tinder was invented - and you don't have to face anyone on Tinder a second time.

Always look at his feet - Cosmo
According to those notorious dating gurus at Cosmo, when choosing between two potential romantic partners, you should always choose the one whose feet spend the most time pointing towards you. Why? Apparently, it’s a sure sign they connect with you on a deeper level. Or maybe it’s just a sign they’re facing you while holding a conversation. You know, like a normal person would.
[caption id="attachment_12342508" align="aligncenter" width="1200"]

Never trust a partner who talks to you - Cosmo
So we’ve already heard about Cosmo’s wise advice on relationships, but this gem is just too good: “Don't be fooled by a guy who offers up tons of minor bits of information about where he's been or what he's been doing.” Why? Cosmo says "he could actually be trying to cover his ass." Yeah, so next time you ask him about his day, make sure to get a strop on when he actually tells you, it's only what the liar deserves. Yeah, enjoy it when your relationship fails.

Get a fringe to avoid accidentally flirting with your boss - Glamour
According to Glamour magazine: “experts say hair that flops in your peepers can signal to your boss that you have something to hide—or that you’re trying to be flirtatious, which isn’t exactly professional.” That’s right ladies, if you’ve got a side fringe you’re either a liar or a flirt, and the only way to deal with it is to change your physical appearance. There are no other options.
Everyone knows that using squirty cream in bed is a bit cliche (not to mention gross), so Cosmo came up with a handy way to - quite literally - spice things up: “Sprinkle a little pepper under his nose right before he climaxes. Sneezing can feel similar to an orgasm and amplify the feel-good effects.” Double points if you do this without letting him know you’re going to do it first. Surprise! Also, who on earth likes being sneezed on in bed?

So next time you’re reading one of these pages, rather than imagining it coming from the wise voice of some all-knowing woman's writer, picture it coming from a drunk stranger in the bathroom of a nightclub. If it still makes sense, you're golden. If not, forget about it, quickly. Because, let's be honest, we all know you're going to buy the magazine again anyway.
We all need help sometimes, and when you get great advice, it can change your life. "Have the courage to live a life true to yourself, not the life others expect of you." "Remember you’ll always regret what you didn’t do rather than what you did." "Don't go swimming in shark-infested waters, with raw hamburger meat in your pockets." The last one really helped me out.
However, sometimes you get advice that's not just bad - it's hilariously awful. But you know what? You can learn something from terrible advice, too. In a Reddit thread that recently went viral, thousands of people shared the worst advice they ever received. Here are the ten best responses.
1. I mean that's just science
"When I was in high school I had a friend who was not the smartest. I remember him telling me if I didn’t want to get a woman pregnant, then she should be on top so the sperm can’t flow up. He became a father his sophomore year."
2. I mean that's just religion
"You know, son, there really is no such thing as cheating if you aren't married. The Bible doesn't recognize any relationship that isn't bound in the covenant of the Lord. So until you are married, relationships don't really exist."
"Thanks Dad, you just indirectly explained why you're on your third marriage."
3. Nope, never heard of it
"My careers advisor in high school. When I said "I think I want to do something with computers" she said "have you heard of Microsoft?" Then she wrote Microsoft on a piece of paper and slid it across the table and that was my careers interview over."
4. Not super helpful
"I called Kids Help Phone when I was a teen to ask for advice on how to help my depressed friend. They advised I find new friends. I wish I was making this up."
5. A medical marvel
"Mentioned in passing that my boyfriend suffered from a terrible charlie horse in the middle of the night. My bizarre, space cadet of a co-worker heard this and immediately interjected, frantically explaining that I needed to get him to a hospital because this was a surefire symptom of pregnancy. She also recommended that I call the news because my boyfriend is well... a man. I guess she thought history was about to go down.
Spoiler alert: he wasn't pregnant."
6. Thanks, mom.
When I was little I told my mom I was sad because some kids were bullying me. She said I should tell them that when they bullied me it hurt me inside, and they would stop. I did what she said. This was bad advice. They did not stop.
7. Thanks, sis.
"'Don't go through chemotherapy, eat this nut and berry mix instead!'- my younger sister, when she visited me in the hospital."
8. Get high, kid.
"When I was about 5-6 years old I was given a Superman cape for my birthday, I was told that it could make me fly, after a few days of not being able to fly, I began asking people how to make it work, they advised that I needed to find somewhere high up to jump off of, so I started jumping off fences, trees, then I was told I needed to jump something taller..."
9. Mmm, sugar water
"When my daughter was an infant, my wife couldn't breastfeed and my daughter couldn't digest formula very well, so I had to buy a special predigested formula for like $25/can.
I was at the cashier paying for the formula. The guy in front of me was gathering his things. He said to me, he says, 'When my kids were babies, I wish I knew what I know now.'
I was like, 'What's that? What do you know?'
He says, 'Babies don't need formula. All they need is sugar water. All the rest is a scam.'
I was like, 'I'm so glad you didn't know that back then.'"
10. Just seven more!
"Don't quit your job at Wal-Mart! You've been here for three years! Just seven more and you'll be fully vested in the company!"
(It's probably a good thing this person quit.)
"One thing I just remembered about that job. We had a manager who, since the time I started working there, couldn't speak above a whisper no matter how hard she tried. It had been like this for years. Two years after I was hired, she finally found a doctor who figured out the problem. Apparently, if you're stressed out every single day for years on end, it can cause a psychogenic voice disorder. He ordered her to take 3 months off work. When she came back, she could speak normally."
As happy as you are with your sex life, there's always something new you could be trying out in the bedroom - or so the magazines will tell you, anyway. You don't really need to involve food in your intimate moments, nor do you have any kind of obligation to take part in some sort of Fifty Shades sexscapade, but some sort of advice column somewhere is bound to tell you it's a good idea.
Unfortunately, not all sex tips are good ones (and, I mean, us human beings have been doing the dirty for a few thousand years now - we already know what's good and what isn't), and even more of them are totally awful. Here's just a brief selection of the worst bits of "advice" people have been given...
1. "Use a fork to put pressure on different parts of your partner's body"
In other words, "engage in a little light stabbing to get you in the mood."
2. "Softly bite the skin of his scrotum"
Just reading that hurt my balls. And I don't even have balls.
3. "Tug on your other half's pubic hairs"
I bet even the most serious BDSM-ers wouldn't dare go to this level of pain.
4. "Feed each other ice cream in the dark - not being able to see means there's more mess to lick up"
Yeah, cause nothing turns a person on more than melted Ben and Jerry's on the sheets.
5. "Sprinkle some pepper under his nose before he climaxes, as sneezing can feel similar to an orgasm"
Should I chuck a little salt in his eyes while I'm at it?
6. "Put body paint on your breasts and use them to 'sponge paint' your partner"
This is the most NSFW kindergarten class I've ever heard of.
7. "Cook naked for your other half"
I can't imagine someone getting splashed by hot oil and thinking, "Wow, I'm really in the mood right now."
8. "Handle his junk like you're opening a jar"
I'm no qualified sexpert, but this sounds more like torture than foreplay.
9. "Put attention-grabbing sequins around your nipples to dazzle your partner"
Why not go the whole hog and wear a clown nose or a horse mask? That'd certainly grab my attention.
10. "Make out with your other half's toes"
Maybe I'm just being heartless here, but I don't think I've ever loved anyone enough to do this.
11. "Put temporary tattoos of their name on your body"
Because being a grade-A obsessive stalker is so in right now.
12. "Eat a donut from around his penis"
A simple rule of thumb: if it sounds like a challenge from a Japanese game show, it probably won't be sexy.
13. "Lick the palm of her hand in public to let her know you're in the mood"
Or, you know, don't.
14. "Use your bra to tie your partner's hands behind their back"
So, you want me to ruin this very expensive piece of underwear to tie a useless knot? Not happening.
Basically, if you've ever come across these tips in a magazine before and thought that you must be super vanilla for not wanting to try them out: don't worry, you're not. But by all means please do give these a go if you and your partner both think it's a good idea. Just don't come crying to me when you end up with ice cream stains on your pillows and sugar all up in your junk.
Hello, and welcome to another edition of doctors telling people to stop doing stupid sh*t. Today, a doctor has had to come out and warn women not to stick cucumbers up their vaginas.
The advice comes after a bizarre craze has swept the web, whereby women are using a cucumber as a douche for their vagina. Seriously guys, what is wrong with you? Why am I having to write this article?
Creatively dubbed the "vagina facial", the ridiculous craze involves putting a peeled edition of everyone's favourite salad staple into your private parts before twisting it around for about 20 minutes. The craze was first started by a group of bloggers (of course), who claim that the fruit's high vitamin value means that it sanitises the vagina and gives it a pleasant odour. They also claim that the fruit can also reduce the chance of contracting sexually transmitted diseases, although this hasn't been backed up with any sort of solid evidence.
But an expert (who as it happens, is also a blogger), has now come forward to warn that the practice could actually leave people at a greater risk of infections, such a gonorrhoea and even HIV.
Dr Jen Gunter, a Canadian gynaecologist, says that washing your bits with a cucumber will upset the pH balance of your private parts, leaving you susceptible to infections. Not done there, Jen says that the cucumber will actually cause your vagina to smell bad and she drilled home her message eloquently, saying: "'if you have a vagina you should definitely not do this".
"This idea that some kind of vaginal cleansing is required, be it a peeled cucumber or the 'feminine washes' sold at drugstores, is misogyny dressed up as health care and I am having none of it," she wrote on her blog.
"Vaginas are not dirty. Study after study after study tells us that douches, cleanses, steams, vinegar, pH balancing products, aloe, colloidal silver, garlic or whatever else passing as the vaginal snake oil du jour at best do nothing but have real potential for harming good bacteria or disrupting the mucosal surface.""By damaging lactobacilli and the mucosa, attempts at vaginal cleansing increase a woman's risk of contracting gonorrhoea or HIV if she is exposed."Paradoxically, it will also cause odour."
Cucumbers aren't the only thing that women have been chucking up their vagina, with a bunch of them also apparently "glitter bombing" their private parts, something experts said was dangerous. However, it did bring about the greatest tweet of all time, so they can be forgiven for that.
[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/slowgymnastics/status/889071437608345605]]
Not only is putting a cucumber up your vagina stupid, but also cucumbers can pick up all sorts of fungi and bugs due to the fact that they grow in a vegetable patch. To put it simply, you don't really want these things coming into contact with your intimate parts.
"Cucumbers seem prone to all kinds of nasty fungi and I just don't think anything capable of getting blossom end rot [a type of vegetable rot] should go in a vagina.""All in all I'd say it's probably wise to not introduce an object with unknown plant microorganisms into your vagina."And no, a little wash in the kitchen sink it's going to sterilise the cucumber."
So there you have it ladies, I'm pretty sure you don't need a doctor to tell you this... but save those cucumbers for your salad.
I imagine working on the design side of a marketing campaign is pretty tough. You've got deadlines to meet, and all your creativity is going to be rushed through in order to get a project done in time. But while the things that catch our eyes, whether they be products or their advertisements, often look simple, coming up with the concept can be incredibly difficult.
That's partly why there are so many rubbish ideas out there, or ads you would happily fast-forward through or head to the kitchen to grab a snack instead of watch. Yet even these eye-rolling or forgettable commercials tend to not be too bad. No one's going to lose a job over them, they just might not get the promotion.
This is absolutely not the case with this latest public debacle, as the message on this condom wrapper ended up meaning the exact opposite of what it intended. Posted on Reddit this week by user wrags23, along with the caption "Safe sex campaign on my campus handed these out", this design is truly atrocious.
In all honesty, it took me a very long time to figure out what it was actually trying to say. In fact, it would be more accurate to say that I never discovered the real message myself, but instead saw a commenter handily explain it to me. Now that's good marketing!
Did you realise it first time? If you did, your brain is running a lot faster and more efficiently than mine. And if you still haven't seen it - take another look at the donut at the beginning of the sentence. Still don't get it? Well the idea is that you are meant to see this image and say it out loud - so "donut go further without consent". Doesn't exactly work does it?
I can kind of understand why they chose to use emoji speak, hoping to remind people to treat one another with respect without being too serious and alienating millennials or something. But really, the text alone would have been fine, and there would be a lot less people thinking that the condoms are advocating non-consensual sex. The fact that people signed off on this design without seeing the issue is bizarre.
[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/gabrielenguard/status/906523132722155520]]
[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/DanNerdCubed/status/906523983880826881]]
Apparently the condoms were made by a company called Say It With a Condom. They design "consent condoms" start a conversation about how to ask for consent before sex. I guess they got what they wanted in the end. We are all talking about it, but there's a lot more bewilderment than I imagine they were expecting.
The condoms have since been removed from the online store, and the company's CEO, Benjamin Sherman, told Us Weekly about how it came to be:
"We went through our normal checks and balances with this design. Whenever we create a new campaign we send it out to universities and domestic violence shelters for feedback and we didn't receive any negative feedback. If we're not given the green light, we redesign or just choose a different tagline."
It's a shame, since the aim of the game was do something positive, but the checks these guys go through need some extra steps at least. Hopefully in the future other companies will stay far away from using an image of a donut instead of real words.

Pregnancy is a trying time. If you're the one carrying a baby, you have to contend with a lot. From morning sickness to cravings, and that's all while making spacing in your life for a soon-to-be pooping and hungry human, who will put a strain on your resources and time no matter your financial position. That's why it's so important that pregnant people have a good support system around them.
Now, to celebrate this time in all it's hilarious glory, dads have been taking to social media to share their #PregnantWifeProblems. Problems which, as frustrating as they might be, don't have a patch on what their better half is going through, which is why they can never complain. Dems the rules!
[post_page_title]Lending A Helping Hand[/post_page_title]
In the latter stages of pregnancy, a baby bump can make even the simplest of tasks impossible. With such a giant mass in front of you, you can pretty much forget shaving your legs and painting your nails, well, unless you're willing to get a helping hand!
[caption id="attachment_141" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @__monilloveee[/caption]
Applying nail polish is an art form in and of itself, and while this is a task that even the most well-meaning of husbands might mess up, this guy looks like he's got his painting skills down to a tee. Don't forget to add gloss when you're done!
[post_page_title]Why You Should Always Buy Extra Food[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women aren't described as eating for two for nothing - they literally are. And putting odd cravings for things like pickles and cheeseballs to the side for a moment, they need whatever their tummy demands at any time.
[caption id="attachment_142" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @GrantVogues[/caption]
This is why, as a partner, if you want to keep your pregnant wife happy, you should always buy two of everything you eat. If she finds out you've eaten something tasty without her, there could, quite literally, be hell to pay.
[post_page_title]The Bigger The Pickle Jar, The Better[/post_page_title]
The world's entire stock of pickles should be reserved for pregnant people. For reasons unknown, they just can't get enough of them, and the bigger, the better in every sense. It doesn't matter whether it's the pickle itself or the jar.
[caption id="attachment_143" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @Kansazjay[/caption]
If you're the partner of a pregnant person and you're debating whether or not to buy an extra jar of pickles, trust me - do it. If there's a special offer on, buy even more. You can not have too many. The wisest of partners stockpile for the whole nine months.
[post_page_title]Eat A Pregnant Person's Food At Your Peril[/post_page_title]
Another unspoken rule which the partners of pregnant people should never think about doing is eating anything without their pregnant partner's consent. If they've been eying it up and suddenly discover it's gone, there will be hell to pay.
[caption id="attachment_144" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Imgur / Diltron[/caption]
The only acceptable explanation in a situation like this is blaming the loss of the food on an animal or a child. Otherwise, there's no telling what the pregnant woman could do. If I was this guy and I'd eaten it, I'd be heading to the store for a replacement ASAP.
[post_page_title]Pregnancy Shopping Lists[/post_page_title]
Pregnancy shopping lists are bizarre and that's putting it mildly. Whether the pregnant person has a craving for an unlimited amount of Jell-O or something more simplistic like cereal, if it's their craving food of choice, they won't be able to get enough of it.
[caption id="attachment_145" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Reddit / @gtrpup2[/caption]
This is an interesting series of cravings. Funnily enough, sometimes they can be a reflection of a baby's tastebuds. When my mom was pregnant with me, she couldn't stop eating salad and low and behold, I've been a vegetarian for years.
[post_page_title]Pregnant Women Can Be Cruel[/post_page_title]
In short, if you're living with a pregnant person, you're going to be eating pot luck. Secret stashes are a no go if you value your life, and more often than note, the pregnant person you're living with will taunt you with the remnants of their tasty treats...
[caption id="attachment_146" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Imgur[/caption]
You might as well just let them have their fun. They're eating for two, and clearly, the person growing inside of them has an evil sense of humor. Oh well, just be sure to make up for lost time and stuff your face while your partner is in labor.
[post_page_title]The Ice Cream Is Off Limits[/post_page_title]
Women might learn a lot about themselves during pregnancy, but so do men - especially if they're becoming a dad for the first time. Basically, if you don't do it automatically, you're going to learn the hard way why pregnant women and their favorite foods shouldn't be parted...
[caption id="attachment_147" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @TheLensLife[/caption]
In short, you're living with someone as unpredictable as a toddler, but because it takes two to tango, there's really nothing you can do about it if you're folly gets you hurt. She's the one going through a lot more with a baby in her belly for nine months.
[post_page_title]Husbands Are Basically Servants[/post_page_title]
While partners will eventually learn - even if it's the hard way - that they should never eat a pregnant person's food, there's one thing which they won't be able to get out of, and that's running after them - whether it's preparing their food or just doing more around the house.
[caption id="attachment_148" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Imgur / @Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii[/caption]
Yeah, and not only will you have to do these things without complaint, you'll have to do them fast! Pregnant people are notoriously hormonal, especially if they're waiting on something like food, and as you'll already know, hangry pregnant women aren't to be messed with.
[post_page_title]BOOBIES[/post_page_title]
But pregnancy isn't all doom and gloom for partners. A woman's body goes through a lot of changes and some are a lot more appealing than others - like boob explosions! In preparation for breastfeeding, a woman's breasts can grow up to one or two cup sizes.
[caption id="attachment_149" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @FrothyDad[/caption]
Unfortunately, however, these new larger boobs can't be enjoyed in the way that the breasts of a nonpregnant woman can be enjoyed. Sadly, they're going to be painful. Oh well, at least you can look at them. Right? RIGHT?!
[post_page_title]Pregnancy Really Takes It Out Of Moms[/post_page_title]
Aside from affecting the way a woman's body looks, pregnancy can really take its toll on her energy levels. That's why women are allowed maternity leave towards the latter stages of pregnancy. They're absolutely drained, physically and emotionally.
[caption id="attachment_150" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @darylamundrud[/caption]
This man captioned the picture: "Someone's enjoying the game today!" Oh well, you might as well enjoy the peace and quiet. You won't have much of it when the baby is born and keeping you both up through the night looking for feeds!
[post_page_title]Pregnancy Is Expensive[/post_page_title]
When a pregnant woman needs to eat, she needs to eat. As a result, pregnancy can be a very expensive time, and that's before you include the cost of buying the essentials like cribs and strollers in preparation for your little bundle of joy's arrival.
[caption id="attachment_151" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @WillKersey[/caption]
Gas store food is notoriously expensive. Pregnant women must be some of their best customers. Twenty-five bucks probably only covered a tub of ice cream, a small jar of pickles and a big back of chips for this ravenous pregnant lady.
[post_page_title]Always Be Prepared FOr Unexpected Cravings[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women never know when their hunger will strike, which is why it's so important for them to be prepared for every eventuality. This picture was captioned: "This is the result when a pregnant wife wants to go for a walk."
[caption id="attachment_152" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @theeasternbloc[/caption]
Pickles: check. Cheesy fish: check. Cookies: check. Sandwich: check. Basically, the only thing missing from this pregnancy craving survival pack is ice cream. Maybe if you want to be super prepared, you should buy a mini freezer for your car. Just in case.
[post_page_title]Date Days Become Nap Days[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women might have the best of intentions about spending quality time with their partner before two become three, but thanks to pregnancy, even the best of intentions can result in, well, nothing. But hey! You can make up for it when your kid eventually moves out...
[caption id="attachment_153" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @drumsnstrums[/caption]
On the plus side, whether you're a guy looking to watch a game in the flesh or at home, you can fart and eat till your wife's content without her knowing if she falls asleep. This picture was captioned: "'Let's watch football and eat nachos together all day!'......not."
[post_page_title]Pregnant Women Will Not Compromise[/post_page_title]
If a pregnant woman wants something, an alternative isn't an option. If you're her partner and go to the store in search of say, a croissant, don't even think about the audacity of returning with a similar alternative like a pain au chocolat.
[caption id="attachment_154" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @mike_dory[/caption]
Seriously, don't risk it. If a pregnant woman asks you for something, you will have to keep searching until you find exactly what she's looking for. Take shortcuts at your own peril - especially if they concern food.
[post_page_title]If You Really Mess Up, Divorce Will Be Threatened[/post_page_title]
If things go dramatically wrong for a hungry pregnant lady, she could end up taking equally dramatic action like, y'know, asking for a divorce. This screenshot was captioned: "She's threatening me with a divorce over fast food."
[caption id="attachment_155" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @coreyjinman[/caption]
Pregnant women notice everything. If you go for fast food without them, even if you hide the evidence, their heightened senses will tell them - and if you're lucky, you'll still be married afterward.
[post_page_title]There Is No Such Thing As Too Many Pickles[/post_page_title]
Ah, pregnant women and pickles. They can't get enough of them - in every form. I actually wonder how many a woman eats during pregnancy! The husband who took this picture captioned it: "I don't know if we have enough pickles!"
[caption id="attachment_156" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @Texans_for_Tide[/caption]
Yeah, it's probably a good idea for this guy to stock up even more. He only appears to have one of each variety and his wife might get a craving for crinkle cut pickles over whole ones. You never know!
[post_page_title]Is It Poop Or The Baby?[/post_page_title]
Cramps are all part of the parcel of pregnancy which means that there can be a lot of false alarms. After all, especially in the latter stages of pregnancy, a baby puts a lot of pressure on a woman's nether regions.
[caption id="attachment_157" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @phero1190[/caption]
Pregnancy is like pass the parcel. You never know when it's going to happen, but the pregnant person can give you an idea - albeit with a lot of false alarms. Case in point...
[post_page_title]Follow A Pregnant Woman's Instructions To A Tee[/post_page_title]
If a pregnant woman warns you not to do something, under no circumstances must you defy her. Trust me. If you want that snack, go and get it outside - oh, and while you're at it, you should get extra for her. Just in case.

The fact that this has been scratched onto the packaging is ominous enough - never mind what this pregnant woman has written. If you value your life, steer well clear of this food buddy.
[post_page_title]Pregnant Women Can't Wait For Food[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women won't go as far as to rob stores, but as soon as food is in your possession, they will be eating it. Sometimes in the store itself, or, if they're a little more patient like this lady was, in the car.

This gleeful pregnant woman's husband captioned this picture: "Didn't even get the car started and she's opened the muffins... she started crying when I laughed at her."
[post_page_title]Consider The Cake Gone[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women are like machines when it comes to food (in the highly unlikely event that this wasn't already blatantly obvious from this article). This husband had a little cake, and when he presumably returned for more, this had happened...
[caption id="attachment_160" align="aligncenter" width="600"]

It's like a magic trick. I don't even know if buying two cakes would have solved the problem. By the looks of it, his pregnant wife would have polished the other one off too!
[post_page_title]Now That's True Love[/post_page_title]
Prengancy puts relationships to the test in just about every way. Thankfully, stronger bonds are forged as a result. When you see what your partner is willing to do to keep you happy if you're a woman, or, y'know, the pain she goes through to give birth, it can be overwhelming.
[caption id="attachment_161" align="aligncenter" width="600"]

This is what true love looks like. Thankfully, this pregnant woman appreciated her husband's sacrifice. She captioned this picture: "My poor husband is freezing so I can be comfortable.
[post_page_title]Pregnant Women Can't Be Ignored[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women can be more anxious than those without little humans growing inside them. That's why it's so important that they are able to contact their partners at all times; otherwise, they could freak out.
[caption id="attachment_163" align="aligncenter" width="600"]

This hilarious screenshot was captioned: "What happens when you have a pregnant wife at home, and you leave your phone in your car for an hour."
[post_page_title]Pregnant Women Sometimes Sleep Alone[/post_page_title]
Whether it's because you've snored one time too many, or because your body heat simply sends them over the age, or you've just plain old annoyed them, if you're the husband of a pregnant woman, you could be chucked out your bed.
[caption id="attachment_164" align="aligncenter" width="760"]

But clearly, this guy managed to get back into the master bed before his wife had given birth. Something tells me that he either got a snoring solution or she forgave him for the misdeed that had him banished in the first place.
[post_page_title]Their Hints Are As Subtle As A Brick[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women sometimes feel bad for asking so much of their partners, which is why they can try to be a little subtler when they want something. Unfortunately, this usually results in them not being subtle at all.

If this man knows what's good for him and his marriage, he will get that woman her guacamole and egg rolls. No questions asked. It's not just her asking, it's his unborn child too.
[post_page_title]Pregnant Women's Requests Can Be Very Specific[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women sometimes don't know how to articulate exactly what it is that they are craving. But that doesn't stop them from doing their best, then leaving their husbands with the nigh-impossible tasks of finding it.
[caption id="attachment_166" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @anaquaticgiraff[/caption]
This poor guy tried his best, but he captioned this hilarious exchange with the revelation he "still got the wrong popcorn". Sometimes you really can't win when your partner has a bun in the oven.
[post_page_title]Stock Up On The Good Stuff[/post_page_title]
Everyone knows that in the ice cream department, Ben & Jerry's is the daddy of them all. So if your wife is pregnant, stock up on multiple tubs and flavors - she'll thank you for it when her cravings it.
[caption id="attachment_167" align="aligncenter" width="600"]

Now, that's what I call a tower of deliciousness. The hilarious thing is that if the cravings are strong enough, even three tubs might not last a pregnant lady a day!
[post_page_title]Beward Mooshbrain[/post_page_title]
When people are pregnant, they will usually try to go about their lives in as normal way as possible for as long as possible, which can lead to mishaps. This husband captioned the picture below: "Pregnant wife forgot to put filling in my sandwich due to her mooshbrain."
[caption id="attachment_169" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Instagram / @franki743[/caption]
But this isn't a legitimate complaint. At least she made a sandwich! Even the most basic of tasks become complicated when you've got another human growing inside you. This is why pregnant women are cut so much slack by, well, everyone.
[post_page_title]Expeditions Are Sometimes Necessary[/post_page_title]
Come rain, hail or shine, when a pregnant woman has got to eat, she's got to eat. Unfortunately, this means that if she's got a bun in the oven during the colder months, you could find yourself going on a snow expedition for her favorite foods.
[caption id="attachment_170" align="aligncenter" width="600"]

For this guy's sake, I really hope that he managed to make it home while the food was still warm. That or there's been no power cut. Pregnant women need their foods of choice and they need it warm - unless, of course, it's the much-coveted ice cream.
[post_page_title]It's Always Time For Pizza[/post_page_title]
When a person is pregnant, pizza is always a good idea. It's full of carbs and is easily customizable, so even if they've got a weird craving, like covering the entire thing in pickles, it is doable. We do, after all, live in the age of dessert pizzas.
[caption id="attachment_171" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @PaulFrommelt[/caption]
But a more general life tip is that pizza is always a good idea, regardless of whether there is a pregnant person in your life or not. To be honest, I'm at the stage now where I think leftover pizza actually tastes better than the stuff fresh from the delivery guy!
[post_page_title]What All Pregnant Women Want[/post_page_title]
Now that's what I call a content looking pregnant woman. She's got enough cheese balls to make a separate baby bump, a cap to protect her from the sun and a lovely, comfy reclining chair. Bliss.
[caption id="attachment_172" align="aligncenter" width="600"]

I bet the husband who took this picture is feeling very pleased with himself. To be honest, it looks like he's doing so well that I'm willing to wager that this isn't the first time that his wife has been pregnant.
[post_page_title]Supplies[/post_page_title]
When pregnant women go to the store, there is absolutely no telling what they will come back with. So if you're a family on a budget, you are going to have to plan for multiple unexpected expenses.
[caption id="attachment_173" align="aligncenter" width="600"]

The husband who took this picture captioned it: "My pregnant wife went to buy some milk and baby formula..." Oh well. At least she got what she went in for and a lot of extras to boot.
[post_page_title]The Leftovers Of A Pregnant Woman[/post_page_title]
Sometimes if you're a very lucky husband with a pregnant wife, you'll be left with some food. Emphasis on the some. Or should I say a little? Actually, scratch that, you'll be left with nothing.
[caption id="attachment_174" align="aligncenter" width="600"]

I mean, this would be a feast... if your stomach was the size of a mouse's. That or you were willing to wait long enough to grow a whole new avocado from the freaking seed.
[post_page_title]The Optimum Temperature When You've Got A Bun In The Oven[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women, in addition to being incredibly ravenous and emotional, are ridiculously sensitive to temperature. So husbands have to deal with things like this...
[caption id="attachment_175" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @merrickaiken[/caption]
This very warm looking picture was captioned by this pregnant lady's husband: "Wife needs to keep the house a nice balmy 60 degrees to be able to nap for work..."
[post_page_title]Never Get In The Way[/post_page_title]
Prior to eating, pregnant women can resemble human dinosaurs, mouths wide open and ready for whatever they're craving that day. Usually, something sweet and very, very filling.

Oh, and if that food looks appealing to you, don't even think about asking for a bite. And if you order it for yourself, be prepared for her to ask for your plate too. Dems the rules!
