Anderson Cooper stunned viewers with a brutal insult directed at President Donald Trump following his latest address in the press room at the White House.
Yesterday's address (on November 5) saw the incumbent president make several unfounded claims about the 2020 election.
He claimed he had been cheated in the election, bemoaned the polls, and falsely declared himself to be the winner.

The Republican president also shared voter and election fraud conspiracies, claiming he had actually won in the states it had been reported that he lost in or the states where vote counting has not yet finished.
Without any basis for his claims, Trump said in the press room, "if you count the legal votes, I easily win" as if to suggest that some of the votes being counted are illegal.
Again with no evidence to back up his claims, he said that this election has seen interference from "big media, big money, and big tech."

In response to Trump's speech at the press conference, Anderson Cooper said live on CNN, "That is the president of the United States."
He added, "That is the most powerful person in the world, and we see him like an obese turtle on his back flailing in the hot sun, realizing his time is over. But he just hasn’t accepted it and he wants to take everybody down with him, including this country."
A number of people have since taken to social media to share their thoughts on Cooper's remarks, with many agreeing with the CNN anchor and many also taking him to task for his choice of words.
This Twitter user agreed with Cooper, writing: "I just fell in love with Anderson Cooper when he gave the most perfect description of Trump. "We see him like an obese turtle on his back flailing in the hot sun, realizing his time is over."

One critic said: "Anderson Cooper got so emotional about his hate for Trump he started to get a little poetic. What an absolute clown, you shouldn't be a journalist if you are that far biased."
