It's fair to say that, over the last couple of months, many of our previous hobbies and interests have had to take a backseat as we all adjust to the challenges and changes that the coronavirus pandemic has presented us with.

Though some countries in Europe - and several states in America - have begun the process of opening back up, still many leisure industries are forced to stay closed in adherence with social distancing rules.

As such, we're all having to get a bit more creative as to the ways in which we keep ourselves occupied and entertained.

And so, in the spirit of such things, here's a Twitter conundrum that has absolutely stumped the internet. Kate Hinds, a newsroom planning editor at a US radio station tweeted out a picture of her beautiful bookshelf along with the caption "Today in find the cat".

And social media was gripped by the challenge.

Some were dumbfounded that there was, in fact, a cat in the picture at all. One user tweeted "There's an actual cat in this pic?? Or a figurine or something?"

Another added, "Stumped! My husband tried (very hard) & finally gave up! So what gives?"

Indeed, Hinds' picture inspired many other hilarious and adorable tweets from cat owners of their own cats on bookshelves.

Oh, and in case you're still totally stumped by the picture - as I was for a quite astonishing amount of time - Hinds tweeted a picture showing where her cat was ingeniously hidden. Check it out:

Now that's one resourceful cat. Hinds told CNET that her cat's name is Norah, and that that they adopted her from a local rescue shelter 10 years ago. The spot in which she's hiding in the now-viral tweet is one of her favorite summer hiding places, Hinds added.
