“We thought it was pretty cute at first but when we noticed that he didn't stop it just felt sad," Myrin told the Daily Star, “He talks a lot with that ‘whiny’ and sad voice and tone so it's hard to tell [if he’s crying].
“But he also hates being alone tho, so maybe he is crying.”
She remarked that Isola “seemed so lonely and restless,” adding, “It felt like we never could leave him alone again.”
In a separate interview with BoredPanda, Myrin said;
“He has always been very attached to us, but lately, he’s gotten more used to always having somebody around. He can’t stand us working and focusing on other things than him at the moment."
In the same interview, Myrin was asked how Isola reacted when she got home. She revealed, "“He didn’t even come to say hi (like he usually ALWAYS does), but went straight to the other cat to smell him.”
Other users on Reddit also took to the comments to share their own experiences as cat owners. One user wrote, "Oh my god my one cat cries when we take the other cat to the vet. They are never apart otherwise so he's not used to it. He literally sits by the front door and cries like your cat does in your video."
Another added, "My cat dose this when my partner leaves for work... while I am home.. and 2 other cats are home.. There is no changing this."
