Apparently it's not enough that both
Ryan Reynolds and
Blake Lively have won the genetic lottery
and have illustrious careers in one of the most difficult industries to break into. No, they seemingly have a picture-perfect relationship to boot. But we just can't seem to resent them for it, because despite being accomplished A-listers, Reynolds and Lively appear to be incredibly down to earth.
When they're not poking fun at each other on their respective social media accounts, Reynolds and Lively are photographed leading wholly normal lives with their two daughters, James and Ines. It's enough to soften the opinion of even the most cold-hearted people out there. And now, Lively has revealed the reason why their relationship is so strong. Notepads at the ready, couples...

Despite both being on the A-list circuit, Reynolds and Lively managed to overlook each other until 2010, when they worked on the DC superhero flick, Green Lantern. They managed to be "just friends" for a few years before marrying in 2012 in a top-secret wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. And now, after the birth of their two adorable daughters, 3-year-old James and 1-year-old Ines, Reynolds and Lively are clearly more in love than ever, as evidenced by every hilarious tweet and Instagram photo they post on social media.
Lively recently opened up about one of the reasons why they work so well together, and it has to do with understanding just how "bizarre" the whole Hollywood shindig is. "In general, it's nice to have someone who understands what you're doing," she said on Monday's segment of Good Morning America. "Especially because our job is so weird—you have to be 'married' to other people, it's all so strange. It's never normal, even when you're both doing it."
The 30-year-old also touched on how awkward sex scenes are. "It's helpful to know when you're acting that you're in a relationship with someone else, that that's not what's actually happening," Blake stated. "Because I have friends who aren't married to someone who's in the business, so they're like: ‘Oh, so
you're not actually making love in that scene?!' And I'm like: 'No, no, no, no, definitely not.'"

The Age of Adaline actress was then quizzed on some of the hilarious tweets that her husband, Ryan Reynolds has posted recently, including the now-infamous "Happy Birthday" tweet.

And of course, her response was perfect. First she said that she'd lost her Twitter password over a year ago, so has been out of the loop. "Everybody's always asking about it, but I never know," she asserted. "He's so funny, but [he needs] a lot of therapy."
Well, there you have it, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's relationship really is as perfect as it seems. I guess it gives us singletons hope that we too can find as great a match one day.
