Former American Horror Story actress Patti LuPone has revealed her feelings about Kim Kardashian’s forthcoming appearance on the TV series.

In case you missed it, the 42-year-old socialite-turned-lawyer will be on the anthology horror TV series, which was created by Gwyneth Paltrow's husband Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy.

The popular show has starred the likes of Lady Gaga, Emma Roberts, Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, Connie Britton, and Sarah Paulson. Now, the reality TV star has landed herself a leading role in season 12 - which is titled Delicate.

The mother-of-four made the announcement on April 10 when she took to Twitter to share a short snippet of a mysterious lullaby with a text overlay that read hers and Roberts' names.

Murphy also released a statement to The Hollywood Reporter about Kardashian's casting, stating: "Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family."

"Emma [Roberts] and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish, and ultimately terrifying role, especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done," he added.

The publication detailed that Delicate is based on an upcoming novel by Danielle Valentine called Delicate Condition, which is "a gripping thriller that follows a woman convinced a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens - while the men in her life refuse to believe a word she says".

The reality TV star's casting left many fans unimpressed as they took to their social media pages to state that they are planning on boycotting the new season.

And it seems that Broadway star LuPone (who starred in AHS: Cove as Joan Ramsey, a religious woman with an incredibly dark secret) is also not happy with Kardashian's impending stint.

Watch LuPone speak about Kardashian below:

Appearing on What Happens Next Live with host Andy Cohen and actor John Leguizamo, the 74-year-old confessed that it bothered her during a game of Do They Give a Damn.

"Yes, I do," she loudly told viewers, before explaining that she felt the SKIMS mogul was taking the role away from other aspiring actors.

"Excuse me, excuse me, Kim… you know… what are you doing with your life? Don’t get on the stage, Mrs Worthington," she added before the interviewer moved on to the next question.

When the 62-year-old Super Mario Bros star was asked about Kardashian's casting, he said: "Whatever she (LuPone) said I double the emotion!"
