Kim Kardashian's American Horror Story role might have been controversial when it was announced, but since the series actually premiered, it's safe to say fans have changed their tune.
When Kim's role in the show was confirmed earlier in the year, fans had vowed to boycott the series - titled 'Delicate' - after fearing that her performance wouldn't be good.
After the season premiered on FX on Wednesday night, the skeptics soon changed their opinion - and the comments even turned to calling for Kim to get an Emmy award for her performance.
In the series, Kim plays Siobhan Corbyn, a high-powered, straight-talking publicist, who represents Emma Roberts' character Anna Victoria Alcott, a teen star turned A-list actress who is in the middle of her fertility journey.
She burst onto the screen in her first scene, with her opening line being: "Tell the Daniels to suck my c**t. She’s not missing a press day for a f**king commercial shoot", setting up her steely character from the off, as she meets with Anna who has just had a painful egg retrieval procedure.
Strange things then start happening for Anna, as she begins losing her hair and getting forgetful after taking her new hormones, leading her to believe she is being stalked by a mystery woman.
Following Kim's debut in the Ryan Murphy hit series - which also stars Cara Delevingne, Matt Czuchry, and more - fans could not heap enough praise on her for owning the role.
One tweeted: "kim kardashian’s performance on american horror story: delicate… i smell an emmy", while another added: "Kim Kardashian needs an Emmy for AHS immediately."
Others commented: "kim kardashian is definitely getting an emmy nomination for this", and: "I was concerned @KimKardashian would feel unnatural in #AHSDelicate but she is effortless! Get your Emmy queen!"
Another wrote: "I love how everyone is genuinely surprised at Kim Kardashian’s great performance in #AHSDelicate. She did such a great job, it might make me actually want this season just for her and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez."
One also added that Kim surpassed her expectations, writing: "@KimKardashian Is killing this role on #AHSDelicate . Is she about to add Actor to her titles? No shade but she is much much better than I anticipated!"
It's not the first time the mom-of-four has surprised viewers with her charisma on-screen, after she also nailed her monologue and sketches while hosting Saturday Night Live, proving her comic timing is also on point.
With a successful career as a reality TV star, multi-million dollar businesses including Skims, and even a law career in the works under her belt, there truly seems to be nothing Kim Kardashian can not do.
