The Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki has revealed that he has secretly tied the knot with his wife, and the pair have welcomed a second baby together.

Galecki, 48, is best known for starring as Leonard Hofstadter in the hit sitcom, which also starred Kaley Cuoco as Penny, Jim Parsons as Sheldon Cooper, Simon Helberg as Howard Wolowitz, and Kunal Nayaar as Rajesh Koothrappali.

The actor was previously in a relationship with his co-star Cuoco, 38, for around two years while working on the show together until they split in 2009, but the pair have remained close friends ever since.

Galecki revealed that he has now quietly married his partner Morgan, whom he has been with since 2020, and the couple have welcomed a baby together.

The actor revealed in a new interview with Architectural Digest that he and Morgan were married, with the publication referencing that at the time of the interview, Morgan was heavily pregnant and gave birth "soon after".

It is not known when exactly the wedding or the birth of their baby happened, but it has been revealed that they had a baby girl called Oona Evelena.

Oona is Galecki's second child, as he is also a dad to his son Orbison, four, who he shares with his ex-girlfriend Alaina Meyer, whom he was with from 2018 until 2020.

Announcing the news they were expecting Orbison months before his birth, the former couple said in a joint statement: "We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we will soon be welcoming a little one into this crazy and wonderful world.

"We ask that you please respect our privacy during this celebratory time for us and our families. There truly is love out there for all. We hope ours is the ember of yours, as we feel yours is the ember of ours.’

Galecki had shared photos from the shoot on his social media account, including one of him with Morgan and Orbison, who had a rabbit mask over his face.

He told his followers: "Thank you to [Architectural Digest] for the lovely profile on the beautiful backdrop of our lives as they stand and smile today.

"We will place it in our family time capsule and cherish it for many, many years. Also, thank you dearly and deeply to my sisters @pierceandward Let’s always remain outside of the box."

The feature also showcased the star's incredible gothic mansion in Nashville, Tennessee, which he bought in 2018 and moved into in 2020 after deciding to leave Hollywood after 30 years.

He explained: "I never felt like much of an Angeleno. And I did try. I say that with sadness, not with snobbery. Thirty years is just a very long time to live in a city that you’re not all that comfortable in."

The actor ended up falling in love with the first house he toured in Nashville, explaining: "Everywhere I looked, around here, felt like the scene of a future memory."
