A bride and groom received an unexpected surprise on their wedding day when Keanu Reeves made an unplanned appearance at the reception.
Newlyweds James and Nikki Roadnight tied the knot last weekend in front of guests at Fawsley Hall Hotel in Northamptonshire, UK.
However, an already special day took an unexpected turn during their reception at the venue when the groom discovered that the 57-year-old John Wick actor was also staying at the same hotel.
In an interview with Newsweek, the bride explained that the Hollywood star appeared after her husband saw him in the bar area of the hotel and told the actor he had just got married.
Check out their wedding pictures below:After seeing the Matrix star at the venue, the groom invited him to drink with the rest of his family and friends at the wedding party, to which Reeves replied that he would come by later in the evening.
"He was very friendly and said he would later on," Nikki said. "We didn’t know if he would or not but it was cool that my husband had spoken to him!"
During the wedding reception, a staff member at the hotel told the bride that a "very special guest" was outside and wanted to speak with her.
When Nikki went outside, she was greeted by the Constantine actor himself and offered him a drink but he declined, saying that he’d just had a long flight and wouldn’t stay long.
"He was so kind and friendly and congratulated us on our wedding," she told the publication. "He was kind enough to do some pictures and our wedding photographer was able to capture some too!"
"Then he took the time to speak to some of our guests and have more photos done!" Nikki said, also sharing those pictures on her Facebook page and captioning the post: "Yes, that is Keanu Reeves at our wedding."
The encounter was the icing on the wedding cake for the newlyweds who described it as "the most magical day" and sang words of praise for the beloved actor.
This isn't the first time that Reeves appeared at someone's wedding. Back in 2018, the actor took a picture with a couple just before they were married in California.
The actor is also known for his good deeds outside of the acting industry and tends to go viral on social media for his heartwarming interactions with fans of all ages
Last month, one Twitter user recalled a touching moment with Reeves and a young boy at John F Kennedy International airport in New York after the actor flew back from London.
The young fan asked the Speed actor a "series of rapid-fire questions" which included questions on why he traveled back from London, if he enjoyed the Grand Prix, and whether he drives F1 or cars.
