Amy Schumer announced on Instagram Monday that she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. This is her first child with husband (and Martha's Vineyard chef!) Chris Fischer. Hours earlier, Prince Harry announced that Meghan Markle gave birth to their son - a coincidence that was not lost on the comedian.

"10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born," wrote Schumer on Instagram, alongside a photo of Chris giving his wife a kiss at the hospital. In the corner, the baby can be seen sleeping peacefully, sucking on a turquoise pacifier.

Before the big reveal, Schumer shared photos of the couple on their way to the hospital, joking that they were getting ready for the swanky 2019 Met Gala. The comic has been remarkably open about her pregnancy on social media. During her nine month journey, she shared brutally honest photos, and even a graphic video of her puking. (Motherhood is so magical!)

Schumer revealed her pregnancy last October, eight months after marrying Chris. Of course, her big news followed Meghan Markle's pregnancy announcement, so she joked about being outshadowed by photoshopping an image of the royals. (Just think, Schumer's baby and Markle's baby could share birthday parties!)

In Schumer's recent stand-up special, Growing, she performs while very knocked up to discuss this new phase in her life. In one memorable segment, she reveals her husband Chris is on the autism spectrum and it made her fall "madly in love with him." (Autism spectrum disorder is a developmental disorder of characterized by difficulties in social interaction and by restricted or repetitive patterns of thought and behavior.)

"Once he was diagnosed, it dawned on me how funny it was because all of the characteristics that make it clear that he's on the spectrum are all of the reasons that I fell madly in love with him," Schumer said. "That's the truth. He says whatever is on his mind. He keeps it so real. He doesn't care about social norms or what you expect him to say or do."

Unlike some couples tell little white lies to each other, Fischer is brutally hones. "If I say to him, 'Does this look like sh*t?' He'll go, 'Yeah, you have a lot of other clothes. Why don't you wear those?'" Schumer explained. "But he can also make me feel more beautiful than anyone ever has in my whole life. And he can't lie! Isn't that the dream man?"

Congratulations, Amy and Chris!
