In the wake of the serious allegations against him, television personality Andy Cohen has issued a response. The Bravo star has been accused of sexual harassment by former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville.
The accusations stem from a letter sent by Glanville's attorneys, Bryan J. Freedman and Mark Geragos, to NBCUniversal (Bravo's parent company), Warner Bros, and production company Shed Media on Thursday. In the letter, Glanville claims that Cohen sent her an inappropriate recording back in 2022.
“Ms. Glanville herself has been a victim of sexual harassment at Bravo by none other than Andy Cohen," the letter - obtained by People - read.
“In a video sent by Mr. Cohen to Ms. Glanville in 2022, Mr. Cohen — appearing obviously inebriated — boasted of his intention to sleep with another Bravo star that night while thinking of her and invited her to watch via FaceTime,” it continued.

In response to the allegations, Cohen issued an apology on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday (February 22). “The video shows Kate Chastain and I very clearly joking to Brandi. It was absolutely meant in jest, and Brandi’s response clearly communicated she was in on the joke. That said, it was totally inappropriate and I apologize,” Cohen wrote.
While a Bravo representative declined to comment, a source who saw the video described it as comedic in nature. “No one in their right mind would think that anything Andy was saying in that video was meant to be taken seriously," the insider told People. "It was very clear that everyone was in on the joke.”

However, Glanville's attorneys argued that Cohen's actions constituted "an extraordinary abuse of power that left Ms. Glanville feeling trapped and disgusted." They also criticized Bravo and the production companies involved, accusing them of prioritizing profits over people.
The letter also referenced Glanville's participation in the Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip season, during which she allegedly engaged in misconduct with former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo. Glanville has vehemently denied any wrongdoing, and her attorneys stated, “there is no truth to any allegations of impropriety,” regarding the incident.
“Ms. Glanville and Ms. Manzo were never alone together that evening,” they added. As the situation unfolds, both Glanville and Cohen await further developments amid the serious accusations and responses.
