Blake Lively made a jaw-dropping appearance at the Met Gala on the same day she announced a settlement with Justin Baldoni's production company, Wayfarer Studios, over their highly publicised legal battle.
The actress was snapped at the event just hours after settling, as Lively attended the fashion event without her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
Baldoni and Lively had been locked into a lawsuit related to their 2024 romance-drama film, It Ends with Us.
Lively, 38, had made a number of sexual harassment allegations, all of which had been dismissed, with the trial set to go ahead later this month.
However, it would only cover three counts: retaliation, aiding and abetting retaliation, and breach of an agreement.
Following the major update, the mom-of-four took to the Met Gala red carpet and even took part in an interview, revealing how she was feeling.
Following her agreement with Baldoni's production company, Wayfarer Studios, Lively didn't show any signs of the legal drama affecting her mood.
She took the surroundings in at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, while wearing an archival Atelier Versace gown from the brand’s Spring 2006 collection.
Speaking in a red carpet interview, Lively said that she was "shy," adding that she wished her four children could be with her at the event.
"I'm shy, I just like to have my kids with me," she admitted.
Unfortunately, the Met Gala has a rule stating that those under the age of 18 are not allowed to attend, though some exceptions have been made in recent times.
Lively also showed off her custom-made handbag, which featured watercolor drawings by each of her children: James, 11, Inez, nine, Betty, six, and Olin, three.
A statement was released by both teams about the lawsuit settlement, where they spoke about the title being a "source of pride" to those who were involved in its creation.
They also highlighted the film's aim of raising awareness for domestic violence survivors.
It read, in full via The Hollywood Reporter: "The end product - the movie 'It Ends With Us' - is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life.
"Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors - and all survivors - is a goal that we stand behind.
"We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms Lively deserved to be heard.
"We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments.
"It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online," it concluded.
The statement did not feature an apology from either team, with the situation escalating since Lively first launched her multimillion-dollar lawsuit in December 2024.
Wayfarer, It Ends With Us Movie LLC, and The Agency Group (TAG PR) were said to be pleased with the situation's resolution.
The shock settlement came after a judge had dismissed 10 of Lively's 13 claims in April, including all of the sexual harassment allegations.
May 18 was slated as the start date of the trial, though it would have covered only three counts: retaliation, aiding and abetting retaliation, and breach of an agreement, known as the Contract Rider.
The judge also ruled that Baldoni was no longer a defendant, with Wayfarer instead due to go on trial after Lively alleged there was a "smear campaign" against her.
Both Baldoni and Wayfarer countersued Lively and Reynolds for $400 million, accusing the pair of defamation and extortion, though these claims would be dismissed in June 2025.
Speaking last week during a pre-trial, Lively's attorneys claimed the actress lost tens of millions in endorsements, in addition to suffering nine-figure losses in her earnings and profits.
Wayfarer claimed these were inflated and denied any responsibility for her losses, calling the actress a "bully" who has a history of failed business ventures.
