Bob Odenkirk's son has provided an update on his father's condition after he collapsed while filming Better Call Saul.
According to TMZ, the 58-year-old actor was filming the sixth and final season of the Breaking Bad spin-off in the desert of New Mexico on Tuesday, July 27. He was rushed to a nearby hospital by ambulances soon after his co-stars came to his aid.
In a tweet made on Wednesday, July 28, Nate Odenkirk wrote to his 12,000 followers on the platform simply: "He's going to be okay."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a spokesperson for the Mr. Show star has since said: "We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident."
The representative continued: "He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew, and producers who have stayed by his side.
"The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery."

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for AMC stated: "Bob is someone we have known and been lucky enough to work with for a long time.
"The immediate outpouring of affection and concern from fans around the world is a clear reflection of his immense talents and ability to both move and entertain people.
"Like everyone else, we are so grateful to know he is in stable condition and receiving excellent care. We are holding him close in our thoughts and wishing for a fast and full recovery."
A number of celebrities have since shared their concern for the actor and comedian on social media.
Odenkirk's Mr. Show writing partner and co-star David Cross tweeted: "I will share what I know when I can but Bob is one of the strongest people I know both physically and spiritually. He WILL get through this. [sic]"
Meanwhile, Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston wrote on Instagram: "Today I woke up to news that has made me anxious all morning. My friend, Bob Odenkirk collapsed last night on the set of 'Better Call Saul.'
"He is in the hospital in Albuquerque and receiving the medical attention he needs but his condition is not known to the public as yet.
"Please take a moment in your day today to think about him and send positive thoughts and prayers his way, thank you."
Finally, Odenkirk's on-screen sibling, actor Michael McKean, tweeted: "Sending huge love to our @mrbobodenkirk. You got this, brother."
