According to a report by TMZ, Robert's long-term partner Lance O'Brien has now confirmed that former Charlie's Angels star died at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on the night of Monday, January 4.

Per The Metro, spokesman Mike Pingel then prematurely broke the news of the Charlie's Angel's star's death to multiple news outlets.
Pingel stated:
"I'm devastated. I've been friends with Tanya for over 20 years. She was full of boundless energy and we always had the best times. She was truly an angel and I will miss her so so much."
Per TMZ, O'Brien stated that Roberts had been rushed to the hospital after collapsing while walking her dog on Christmas Eve. He was informed by the hospital on Sunday that Roberts was close to death, and allowed to sit near her.
It was then that he witnessed her lose consciousness, and assumed she had died there and then. Commenting on her death in his premature statement, O'Brien said:
"Tanya and I have never been apart. This is too much to handle. Her animals are lost without her and so am I. As I held her in her last moments, she opened her eyes. I was able to see her beautiful eyes one last time. Tanya had the most beautiful eyes."
The situation was complicated further when O'Brien received a phone call from the hospital in the middle of an interview with Inside Edition, in which he was brought to tears by the news that Tanya was in fact alive.
