Cameron Diaz has responded after the released documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein mentioned her name.
As previously reported, New York district judge Loretta Preska authorized the disclosure of court documents containing information about 170 associates of the late financier Epstein.
The ruling, made last month, determined that the identities of individuals connected to Epstein, previously labeled as "John and Jane Does," should no longer be kept secret.
Judge Preska cited a lack of legal justification for maintaining the seal on these documents, potentially tying several prominent figures to the infamous disgraced financier.
The revelation follows a defamation lawsuit filed by Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein victim, against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's former associate and convicted child trafficker.
The files, which were released over a few days, included many high-profile names - including Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, Donald Trump, and Stephen Hawking.

It's important to note that someone's inclusion in the list does not necessarily imply wrongdoing or awareness of Epstein's actions. Some names are merely mentioned in passing during legal proceedings.
Among the names listed, was 51-year-old actress Cameron Diaz who has since spoken out about her inclusion.
To clarify the situation, Diaz's publicist has now issued a statement to Page Six, stating: "Cameron never met Jeffrey Epstein, nor was she ever in the same place as him or had any association with him whatsoever, regardless of the fact he may or may not have mentioned her name or implied that he knew her."
Court documents appear to support Diaz's assertion. A deposition by Johanna Sjoberg, one of Epstein’s alleged victims, revealed that the financier had boasted about knowing celebrities like Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Bruce Willis.
However, when questioned about her encounters with Diaz, Sjoberg firmly responded, "No," indicating that Epstein's claims were merely "name-dropping."
It appears that Diaz had no connection with Epstein and likely never visited his notorious island.
Sjoberg also referred to Prince Andrew during her deposition and detailed an incident where the Duke of York allegedly groped her breast during a photo with Giuffre.
Buckingham Palace has vehemently denied Sjoberg's allegations, and Prince Andrew settled a case with Giuffre, emphasizing that he never met her and refuting her claims.
Transcripts from Maxwell's deposition also reveal that Bill Clinton traveled on Epstein's private jet. Sjoberg's 2016 claims about Epstein mentioning Clinton's preference for young girls are also included.
In 2019, Clinton's spokesperson denied the former president's involvement in Epstein's crimes. The documents also reference Epstein's mention of contacting Donald Trump on their way to a casino, though Sjoberg clarified that no wrongdoing was alleged against Trump.
