Child actor Matthew Mindler's death has been ruled as suicide.
The Lancaster County Coroner's Office confirmed to TMZ that the 19-year-old actor, best known for starring alongside Paul Rudd in 2011's Our Idiot Brother, died by suicide, but the toxicology results from the case remain pending.
Mindler was a freshman student at Millersville University in Pennsylvania, with his tragic passing being confirmed to students on Saturday, August 28, after his remains were found in Manor Township near the campus that morning.
The announcement read: "It is with a grieving heart that I let you know of the death of 19-year-old Matthew Mindler from Hellertown, Pennsylvania, a first-year student at Millersville University.
"A search had been underway for Matthew since Thursday, after he was reported missing."

The former child actor disappeared on Tuesday night when he failed to return to his dorm room, and he was officially reported missing on Wednesday.
Page Six reports that his family and friends raised the alarm after he failed to "return to his room or return phone calls from his family" on Wednesday.
The university said in an online statement that the first-year student had attended classes the week of his death prior to going missing.
"Our thoughts of comfort and peace are with his friends and family during this difficult time," Millersville University President Daniel A. Wubah said in the statement.

Mindler was seen on CCTV leaving his dorm room at the West Villages around 8 PM on August 24. He then made his way to a car park and never returned.
As well as starring alongside Paul Rudd, Zooey Deschanel, and Elizabeth Banks in Our Idiot Brother, Mindler's acting credits included Chad: An American Boy, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and As the World Turns.
Mindler's family has not yet commented on his tragic passing, NBC News reports.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
