Chris Pratt has come under fire for publicly "snubbing" his ex-wife Anna Faris on Mother's Day.

The Guardians of the Galaxy actor was previously married to the 47-year-old actress, best known for starring as Cindy Campbell in the Scary Movie film series.

The pair welcomed their 11-year-old son Jack in 2012 and announced their separation in 2017. The divorce was then finalized in October 2018.

Following their break up, Pratt tied the knot with Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019 and the couple welcomed two daughters: Lyla, and Eloise.

The 44-year-old actor took to Instagram on Sunday (May 12) to share a Mother's Day post dedicated to the women in his life.

In his caption, Pratt wished a happy Mother’s Day “to all the mamas out there," and gave a lengthy shout-out to his 34-year-old wife.

“Love to my Mom Kathy who set a high bar for her love, patience, humor, and joy in motherhood. And a special thank you my darling Katherine for all you do. Witnessing you be a mom to Lyla and Eloise and a stepmom to Jack makes me fall more and more in love with you every day,” Pratt gushed.

“The 24/7 job of scheduling, transporting, loving, nurturing, managing calendars, planning activities, the nutrition, the boundaries, the rules, the patience, the gentleness, the firmness, the wisdom, and grace,” he said, adding, “It’s truly a marvel".

Many fans took to the comment section to slam the Passengers star for "snubbing" his ex-wife in his post.

"No happy Mother’s Day to your first child’s mom? Hmmm," one user wrote, while another said: "What about the mom of your first kid?"

A third chimed in: "Wait, so the other mom that birthed and raises your kid doesn't get a shout just because you remarried? Weird." A fourth added: "No thank you to Ana?"

However, others came to the actor's defense as one person said: "This man does not have to shout out his EX wife on mother’s day. That is so weird."

A second interjected: "The fact random people get so defensive over other randoms is so bizarre. Who cares if he doesn’t post about his ex. It’s not your problem."

The Jurassic World actor also made headlines last Mother’s Day for not mentioning the House Bunny star in his tribute post, which celebrated his mom, his wife, and his mother-in-law, Maria Shriver.

He was also heavily criticized in November 2021 for his Instagram post that expressed gratitude to Schwarzenegger for bringing their “gorgeous and healthy daughter” into the world.

Many took offense to his message as the actor and Faris' son experienced health issues after his premature birth.

Pratt addressed the controversy in an interview with Men’s Health in June 2022, stating: "That is f***ed up. My son’s gonna read that one day. He’s nine. And it’s etched in digital stone.

“It really f***ing bothered me, dude,” he confessed. “I cried about it. I was like, I hate that these blessings in my life are - to the people close to me - a real burden.”
