Chris Rock has returned to the stage for his brand new Netflix special, Selective Outrage - and he made sure to address the elephant in the room.

Just in case you're one of the five people on the planet who missed it, last year, Chris Rock was asked to present an award at the 2022 Oscars. While on the stage, he made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's shaved head, quipping: "Jada, I love ya! G.I. Jane 2 - can't wait to see it."

Despite the Men in Black star appearing to initially laugh at the joke, his wife looked very unimpressed - which led to Smith storming the stage and slapping Rock in the face.

Check out the infamous moment below:

The slap resulted in a huge media storm - which was only amplified after Smith went on to win the Academy Award for Best Actor at the end of the night for his role in King Richard.

Once the dust had finally settled, Smith was handed a 10-year ban from the Oscars and would issue an apology to Rock, saying: "I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be."

But if you thought Rock was going to let that be the end of it, then think again!

On March 4, the 58-year-old comedian debuted his new comedy special on Netflix, and Will and Jada were a hot topic for discussion.

Toward the end of the show, Rock tells the crowd: "Y’all know what happened to me."

"I got smacked at the f***ing Oscars by this motherf****r," he adds. "A lot of people are like, did it hurt? It still hurts! I got 'Summertime' ringing in my ears."

Rock then stated that he was "not a victim" and that he took the hit "[former professional boxer Manny] Pacquiao".

"I know you can’t tell on camera, but Will Smith is significantly bigger than me," Rock joked. "This guy does movies with his shirt off. You’ll never see me do a movie with my shirt off."

The comedian then told the audience that "everybody knows what the f**k happened" and that he "had nothing to do with that".

"For people that don’t know, well everybody knows, but Will Smith’s wife was f***ing her son’s friend. Okay? I normally would not talk about this s**t, but, for some reason, they put it on the internet."

Rock was, of course, referencing the 2020 episode of Red Table Talk when Jada and Will discussed her "entanglement" with rapper August Alsina.

It would appear that Rock believes that the couple have not quite recovered from the revelation, and this is what led to him being slapped at the Oscars.

"I have no idea why two talented people would do something like that," he joked. "We’ve all been cheated on, everyone in here has been cheated on. None of us have ever been interviewed by the person who cheated on us on television. None of us are like, hey, I was sucking somebody else’s d***. How did that make you feel?

"Why would you do that?"

Rock would then tell the crowd: "She hurt him way more than he hurt me. Everybody in the world was calling him a b***h, and I tried to call him up and he didn’t pick up the phone to me.

"Everybody was calling him a b***h, everybody, everybody, and he slaps me? That is some b***h a** s**t."

After these very strong words, we'll just have to wait to see if Smith responds to Rock once again putting Jada's name in his mouth.
