Chrissy Teigen has shared her first social media post since she broke the news of her heartbreaking miscarriage.
The tragic news of her third child's death came just days after Chrissy first revealed to her fans that she had been suffering from pregnancy complications and severe bleeding while in hospital.
On October 1, the model and presenter shared a heartbreaking image of herself crying in bed, comforted by her husband John Legend.
In an emotional statement, Teigen wrote:
"We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before.
"We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions.
"It just wasn’t enough."

In the candid posts, Teigen continued: "We never decide on our babies' names until the last possible moment after they're born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack.
"So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever."
"To our Jack - I'm so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn't give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you."
Now Chrissy has made her first post on social media since the traumatic event.

Addressing her 32.8 million Instagram followers, Chrissy reshared a series of tweets that John Legend had made previously, which included a clip of his poignant performance at the Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday, which he had dedicated to her.
Chrissy captioned her post simply: "We are quiet but we are okay. Love you all so much."
Legend's performance can be seen below:

Alongside the video of his performance, Legend wrote to his wife: "I love and cherish you and our family so much. We’ve experienced the highest highs and lowest lows together.
"Watching you carry our children has been so moving and humbling. I’m in awe of the strength you’ve shown through the most challenging moments.
"What an awesome gift it is to be able to bring life into the world. We’ve experienced the miracle, the power and joy of this gift, and now we’ve deeply felt its inherent fragility."
Although this is Chrissy's first proper post, she hasn't been entirely absent from social media.
On October 11, the 34-year-old returned to Instagram to leave a comment on a post shared by the @betches account.
The post in question featured a screenshot of a comment which read: "Just booked an eyebrow waxing appointment and I‘m excited I’ll be wearing a mask so I don’t have to hear ‘moustache too?’ [sic]"

In a reply to the post, Chrissy wrote simply: "Finally, a giggle. Thank you."
