Confirmed: Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have welcomed a second child

It has been confirmed: Justin Timberlake, 39, and Jessica Biel, 38, welcomed a second child to their family last month.

The amazing news was validated by Timberlake's friend and collaborator Brian McKnight, whom said in an in Hollywood Life. In a conversation about Timberlake's music career, McKnight told the publication:

"Having kids and having his family, I think [Justin] took some time to focus on those things because those things are very important.

"I think if he’s going to do music, he’s going to make sure that that's secure, and then he'll bring us into his music.

"And being inspired! He just had a new baby. I think that's going to be really inspiring for him and he'll have some new music based on that, I'm sure."

Rumors surrounding a second child circulated last month when the Daily Mail "exclusively" revealed that The Sinner star "gave birth to a baby boy earlier this week".

The publication claimed that Biel's mother, Kimberly Conroe Biel, stayed with the couple at their home in Big Sky, Montana, for much of her daughter's pregnancy.

In an adorable Father's Day post back in June, Biel gushed over her husband, writing: "To the dad who not only protects and provides but most importantly, PLAYS, and puts up with all our shenanigans. And teaches and guides and comforts and accepts and respects.

"Being a dad can sometimes be a thankless job, but today we hope you know how important you are in our lives. We love you forever and ever and a day. Love mom and Silas"

Biel and Timberlake have yet to confirm the news personally, but we can only imagine it is a matter of time before fans are treated to a snap of the newborn.

Justin hasn’t released an album since 2018's Man of the Woods, but it is great to know that Brian thinks that the birth of the new arrival could spark some creativity.
