Pedro Pascal took to the stage at the Emmys last night with his arm in a sling - but fans were left baffled after he was censored as he went to explain how he had hurt himself.
Whether you like it or not, 2023 was Pascal's year as he took the entertainment world by storm with his compelling performances in The Last of Us and The Mandalorian.
He's been in the business for many years, but seeing him get the recognition he deserves feels right as he comes across as a genuinely nice guy.
With that in mind, when he arrived on stage at the Emmys with his arm in a sling, people were quick to question how the beloved actor had come to be injured.
Addressing the elephant in the room – or rather, his injured shoulder – Pascal diverted attention to himself before diving into the nominees.
"A lot of people have been asking about my arm. It's actually my shoulder," he clarified with a grin.
He then noted that “tonight is a perfect time to tell everyone that Kieran Culk-" before he was cut off by a bleep.
The camera quickly panned to Culkin, capturing his priceless reaction. The tension escalated until both actors, Culkin in his seat and Pascal on stage, burst into laughter.
For those itching to unravel the censored content, a recording surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), revealing Pascal's unfiltered statement: "And I think tonight is a perfect time to tell everyone that Kieran Culkin beat the s*** out of me."
Watch the uncensored moment below:This follows on from the Golden Globes when during Culkin's acceptance speech for Best Actor in a Drama Series, he teased Pascal with a light-hearted: "Suck it, Pedro. Sorry. Mine!"
Pascal responded by looking like he was about to burst into tears before bursting into laughter.
It looks like 2024 might be the year Pascal and Culkin steal the headlines with a love-hate relationship.
In other Pascal-related news, his fans were left in uproar last year after he wasn't crowned as PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive.
Instead, Patrick Dempsey, renowned for his iconic roles in Grey's Anatomy and Enchanted, claimed the coveted title.
Expressing their discontent on Twitter, fans voiced their sentiments under the official announcement post. One user exclaimed: "Pedro Pascal was robbed," while another echoed the sentiment, asserting: "He'll always be McDreamy, but this year should have gone to Pedro Pascal. He was robbed."
This is Pedro Pascal's world and we just live in it... Unless Kieran Culkin has anything to do with it.
