Social media users think that Jennifer Lawrence made a very subtle remark directly to Leonardo DiCaprio about his well-known dating history - and fans are absolutely living for it.
During a recent installment of Variety’s “Actors on Actors,” the Hunger Games actress left viewers buzzing after what many believe was a sly dig at DiCaprio’s long-standing reputation for dating women under 25.
The moment came while the actors, who starred in Don’t Look Up, were chatting about DiCaprio’s Oscar contender One Battle After Another, in which he plays a father to a teenage daughter.
“I’d really love seeing you to be a dad. I’m so sad that you don’t have a teenage daughter. You look great with one,” Lawrence told the 51-year-old, giggling as the camera cut to him looking completely unsure how to react.

“Omg hahahahahahah we knowwww what she means.. I love her lmao,” one user wrote. Another chimed in: “She knows he has teenage girlfriends instead thats why she said this."
One fan posted: “His face...he knew he got WORKED,” while another joked: “Part of me knows she probably didn’t mean it that way but it’s JLaw she’s online and PETTY."
“Screaming, she’s basically saying start dating age appropriate women because you’d actually be a great dad! Queen!” another comment read.

A new Scorsese project
Despite the viral moment, the rest of the interview was all business as the two stars discussed their upcoming collaboration with legendary director Martin Scorsese.
The 35-year-old actress and DiCaprio are teaming up for the first time with Scorsese on an adaptation of Peter Cameron’s 2020 novel What Happens at Night, a haunting tale about an American couple traveling to a mysterious Northern European town to adopt a baby.
Once checked into their hotel, the couple faces increasingly strange barriers that prevent them from completing the adoption.
When Lawrence asked if there was anything she “absolutely should know” about working with The Irishman director, DiCaprio replied: “It’s a great thing, and he’s going to give you a lot of film references” - usually in the form of DVDs.
“And if you don’t have a DVD player, get one,” he added, prompting Lawrence to joke: “Oh my God. I’m going to kill myself.”
DiCaprio also shared that Scorsese sometimes holds full screenings just to inspire a single scene. “We might see some Japanese ghost films for reference, just to get the tone of it. You’re going to have an amazing time,” he said.
The project marks DiCaprio’s seventh film with Scorsese and Lawrence’s first.
