Ginnifer Goodwin has revealed that she offered up her husband's sperm to a friend wanting to become a single parent.
The Once Upon A Time star made the revelation on Friday's episode of SiriusXM's Pop Culture Spotlight with Jessica Shaw. The 43-year-old appeared on the show alongside Pivoting costars Eliza Coupe and Maggie Q.
During the show, Goodwin started talking about one of her single friends and their journey to motherhood.
Thinking she had come up with the perfect solution to the situation, Goodwin offered up the sperm of her husband, fellow Once Upon A Star alum, Josh Dallas.
She said: "I offered [Josh's] sperm to one of my best friends who was gonna be a single mom.
"And my husband and the best friend were the ones who were like, 'This could lead to complications.' And I was like, 'I just feel like you need to procreate.'"
Goodwin said that she told the pair: "Seriously, we could arrange this. And then there would be more little Josh's in the world," before adding that she loved the picture of what people "needing Josh's would be."
The Big Love star continued: "The best friend and the husband were like, 'Wow, that's really sweet Ginny. Like what happens?' And then they explained like all the logistics and I was like, 'Look, there's turkey basters.'
"It's not like you're not gonna be in the kid's life. Like you're in my best friend's life."
Goodwin and Dallas currently share two children together, sons Oliver Finlay, 7, and Hugo Wilson, 5. The couple married back in April of 2014 after meeting on the set of ABC's Once Upon a Time, with Goodwin playing Snow White and Dallas playing Prince Charming.
Ironically, it was a trip to Disneyland that made Goodwin realize she was going to marry Dallas, as she recalled on Live With Kelly and Michael: "I knew that, in fact, I was going to marry my husband Josh at Disneyland because I took him for his first time ever and we had just started dating.
"We were on Big Thunder Mountain and he threw his arms in the air and he goes, 'This is the best day of my life!' and I was like, 'We're totally getting married.'"
