Chart-topper Iggy Azalea has taken to social media to reveal that she has a son with boyfriend Playboi Carti after keeping the birth a secret.
The 30-year-old 'Fancy' singer has said that she has been waiting for the right time to reveal the "giant news", but that despite the fact she wants her son's life to remain private, she wants to make it clear that "he is not a secret".
The Australian rapper wrote on her Instagram Stories to her 13.4 million followers:
"I have a son.
"I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I'm always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world.
"I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret and I love him beyond words."
Iggy and US rapper Playboi Carti (real name Jordan Terrell Carter), first began dating back in 2018, the Mirror reports.
She is now living with the 23-year-old in their home in Atlanta.
Playboi shared details about his relationship with Iggy in an interview with Fader late last year, telling the publication: "Once I started talking to her, I just cut off everybody. It was over with," he told the outlet. "I support everything she does."
