Jennifer Lawrence has shared the screen with some of the biggest names in Hollywood - from Robert Pattinson and Bradley Cooper to Liam Hemsworth - but there’s one actor who almost made her job too difficult.
The Oscar winner, who continues to stack her filmography with impressive projects, opened up about a surprising challenge she faced while filming Don’t Look Up.
The culprit? Jonah Hill.
Why Jennifer Lawrence found Jonah Hill so hard to work with
Before you jump to conclusions, Lawrence isn’t calling Hill out for bad behavior.
In fact, it’s quite the opposite.
"It was really, really hard filming with Jonah, and just not ruining take after take, laughing,” she told Vanity Fair. “We one-time dedicated an entire day to him just improv-ing insults at me. It was amazing."

With a cast stacked with Hollywood royalty like Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Cate Blanchett, Lawrence said Hill’s improvisational chops stood out.
"I mean, he's just a comedic master. I mean we all did some [improv] just not as well as Jonah," she added.
She even gave a shoutout to another castmate, saying: "He and Meryl were the only ones who should do that kind of improv."
Hill’s ad-libs even made it into the trailer
One standout moment from the film's trailer featured Hill delivering a hilariously off-the-cuff line that wasn’t even in the script.
"Sit tight and assess. The sit tight comes first then you've got to digest it, that's the assessment period," his character says in the clip.
Lawrence confirmed the scene was totally unscripted, saying: "See? That wasn't in the script Jonah."
Though filming the dark comedy might have been full of laughs behind the scenes, the message at its core was anything but lighthearted.

Lawrence urges fans to take the film’s message seriously
When asked what she hoped audiences would take away from Don’t Look Up, Lawrence got candid about the real-world issues behind the satire.
"To stop handling information the way that we do now, where there's like the truth and science and then politics, or you know, personal feelings involved,” she said.
"You know, we should all just be on the same page of, you know, taking care of our planet, and taking care of mankind. World peace would be my hope.”
