Jim Carrey has embarked on a second career as an artist, obsessively working in his home studio to create beautiful paintings. This is something few people would have predicted in 1994, watching him talk out of his butt as Ace Ventura, Pet Detective. But as life goes on, you're driven by your passions, and sometimes those passions change. If you've seen Carrey's artwork, or the short documentary about it, you know that he's surprisingly talented and takes this new creative endeavor seriously.

Recently Carrey has taken to drawing political paintings, churning them out at an impressive speed. After the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, he tweeted a painting of a dead schoolgirl lying on American flag, with the caption, "Oh, can't you see?" It's a powerful depiction of the horrible massacres that happen significantly more in America than any other civilized country.

He followed that up with a painting of a scowling woman, who is implied to be White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee-Sanders. The caption reads: "This is the portrait of a so-called Christian whose only purpose in life is to lie for the wicked. Monstrous!"

Following that, Carrey tweeted a portrait of President Donald Trump, with the caption, "THE WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST WING AND PUTIN’S FLYING MONKEYS." Diehard Trump supporters weren't very happy about this one, which is disappointing, because they seem like real art connoisseurs.

Today Carrey tweeted his latest painting, a brutal portrait of Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner. It depicts Kushner standing in front of a burning Midtown tower, his family's property at 666 E. 5th Street. That real estate has become an albatross around Kushner's neck, due to a financial controversy. It was reported that his father tried to secure an investment from Qatari Finance Minister Ali Sharif Al Emadi. When Emadi passed, Jared gave critical support to Qatar's neighbors during a Middle Eastern conflict (just by total coincidence, I'm sure!). The diplomatic assault ended with a blockade of Qatar. Many people think Jared punished the country because they didn't invest in his family's property.

The Satanic street address, 666, fuels Carrey's inspiration, as he creates a wall of hellish flames. The caption reads, "Self-Unmade Man," a reference to the blatant nepotism that elevated Jared to such a powerful position in the Trump Administration, despite having no relevant experience. (The President put Jared in charge of negotiating peace in the Middle East, solving America's opioid epidemic, conducting diplomacy in China, reforming care for veterans, reforming the criminal justice system, and reinventing the entire government to "make it run just like a company.") Also, the title implies that self-made scandals may doom his career. A month ago, Jared was stripped off his top-secret security clearance, because he could not pass a standard background check.

Twitter users praised Carrey's painting:

And you got to love the reference to Carrey's old In Living Color character, Fire Marshall Bill:

Some people love to shout at celebrities to "shut up and stop talking about politics!" But everybody has the right to express their opinion about politics, and if you don't think so, you're talking out of your butt.
