Fans have noticed that Johnny Depp appears to have fixed his natural teeth after being criticized last year.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star was the center of attention at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival for the wrong reason.
The 61-year-old attended the world premiere of his movie Jeanne du Barry, which was directed by Maïwenn.
Instead of being focused on the actor's big comeback after his high-profile defamation case against Amber Heard, fans were more focused on a picture of his "rotting" teeth.

A page on X shared a close-up image of Depp with the caption: "Johnny Depp's teeth appear to be rotting," and the post amassed 24.7 million views and 75K likes on the social media platform.
Many users shared their thoughts on the actor's not-so-pearly whites as one user wrote: "Johnny Depp’s teeth are literally rotting away," while another quipped: "His mouth is literally oozing death."
It seems like the Edward Scissorhands star took the online criticism to heart as he unveiled his new teeth a year later.
Check it out below:Last week, a clip of Depp on holiday in the Bahamas was shared by a bartender from Lorraine’s Café in Exuma. The film star interacted with staff members who invited him behind the bar to mix some drinks.
Depp appeared in good spirits as he shook hands with fans and even flashed his apparent new smile. The actor's devoted fans immediately noticed this and took to the comment section to share their reactions to his dental work.
"Def got his teeth done! Looks so good," one person said, while a second questioned: "Am I right [to] see that his teeth are [looking] brighter than ever before???"
A third remarked: "Geez the man has a new grill and it looks great, not sure why he waited so long? Maybe he hates the dentist? Lol," and a fourth shared: "Hello new teeth! He looks great."

The Fantastic Beasts star opened up about his dental health back in the 1990s, sharing: “I had a root canal done eight years ago that’s unfinished. It’s like a rotten little stub," as cited by The Independent.
He added: “When I see people with perfect teeth, it drives me up the wall. I’d rather swallow a tick than have that!”
But the actor, then aged 31, insisted that he “liked” his flawed smile. “It’s like when the Indians would make something beaded, they would always put imperfections on it... I’m proud of these," as cited by Page Six.
Looks like he changed his mind.
