Justin Bieber fans think they spotted him snubbing Selena Gomez during Coachella performance
Justin Bieber fans think he snubbed Selena Gomez during one particular moment in his Coachella performance.
The 32-year-old musician made his long-awaited return to the stage on April 11.
Bieber's 90-minute set featured tracks from his recent two-part album SWAG, alongside a mix of older fan favorites.
Bieber's Return To The Stage
After powering through the first 13 songs, the tone of the show shifted into a more laid-back, nostalgia-driven segment.
Bieber sat on a stool behind a table with a laptop, and pulled up his old music videos while checking the livestream to see what fans wanted to hear.
He then played crowd favorites with the videos projected behind him, sometimes singing along and other times just vibing without even lifting the microphone.

Things got especially lively when the Grammy-winning musician queued up 'Beauty and A Beat,' which sent the crowd into a frenzy as they sang and jumped along to the opening verse and chorus.
But just before the track reached the second verse and Nicki Minaj’s iconic rap, Bieber suddenly cut the song short.
The moment didn’t go unnoticed by fans, particularly because the skipped verse includes the line: "Justin Bieber. You know Imma hit 'em with the ether / Buns out, weiner / But I gotta keep an eye out for Selener."
Social Media Reactions
Some viewers took Bieber's move as a subtle shade toward Gomez, his on-and-off girlfriend of eight years.
"Did he play the part when Nicki say: gotta keep an eye out for Selenerr?" one fan asked. "Had to turn it off before Nicki said seleneerrr," another quipped.
The Canadian popstar is now married to Rhode founder Hailey Baldwin, while the 33-year-old actress is married to producer Benny Blanco, who, funnily enough, produced and wrote several key songs for Bieber, including 'Love Yourself' (2015) and 'Lonely' (2020).
Bieber is one of three headliners at this year’s festival, alongside pop star Sabrina Carpenter and Colombian musician Karol G.
His return comes after he canceled his world tour in 2022 following a diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused facial paralysis after a shingles complication.
Bieber released his surprise Grammy-nominated album Swag in July 2025 and performed 'Yukon' at the awards ceremony in February.
His stripped-back Coachella set is a complete contrast to Carpenter’s theatrical, Old Hollywood-inspired performance the night before.
Karol G is set to headline the festival’s final night in the California desert.
