Kanye West once claimed he didn't create a certain controversial social media post about his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, that had been making the rounds at the time.
Known for his bold statements, Kanye had returned to Instagram in September 2022 after wiping his account and used the platform to air his views about various individuals, including Pete Davidson, Kim’s ex-boyfriend.
A peculiar meme, which Kanye, 45, shared and subsequently deleted, made some unflattering remarks about Kim's supposed bathroom habits.
Kanye, however, denied his involvement, claiming the text style was mimicked, and posted, "This was not from me. Someone copied my style of text and wrote something not funny."

He also denied another quote attributed to him about the TV show Friends, adding, "I know you guys gonna be disappointed but I actually didn’t write the teeet [sic] that said ‘Friends wasn’t funny either’ but I wish I had I’d love to know who thought of that I like to post comments."
Kanye then alluded to Kim's ex Pete, saying, "Cause y’all n****s is hilarious I love funny people and I think that’s one of the reasons me and Skete could’ve never been friends."

These posts came in the wake of the Yeezy founder’s vocal criticisms about his estranged relationship with Kim and their differing parenting styles. He also confessed to struggling with an addiction to adult film. Kanye did not shy away from revealing private messages, presumably from Kim and her mother Kris Jenner, expressing concerns about his behavior.
On a positive note, Kanye announced a "good meeting" with his ex in September last year, after sharing screenshots of their personal chats. He said, "Hi guys I'm baaaaack Sorry to take so long to post I just had a good meeting with Kim about the schools."

The couple, parents to North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, split after nearly seven years of marriage when SKIMS creator Kim filed for divorce in February 2021.
Subsequently, Kim had a short-lived relationship with Pete, which lasted just nine months. Speculations suggest Kanye's interference might have impacted their relationship.

Following the end of Kim and Pete's relationship, Kanye posted a fabricated newspaper snippet headlined "Skete Davidson dead at 28," which allegedly led to Pete seeking trauma therapy due to its disturbing nature.
