Kanye West has returned to Instagram to send a ruthless message to Pete Davidson following his reported split from Kim Kardashian.
The 45-year-old rapper took to Instagram to share a shady post, appearing to savagely mock the 28-year-old comedian's break-up with his ex-wife.
In his first post on the social media platform since removing all of his previous posts, the 'Flashing Lights' rapper created a mock New York Times newspaper front page, with a large headline across it, reading: "Skete Davidson Dead At Age 28".
Check out his post below:(West also took a shot at fellow rapper Kid Cudi, in a short like that reads he was "meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwing" - a reference to Cudi's recent trouble with bottle throwers at his live performances.)
West's post comes after insiders told E! News that the 41-year-old SKIMS founder called it quits on her relationship with Davidson due to long distance and demanding schedules that "made it really difficult to maintain a relationship".
However, the source alleges that the two still have "a lot of love and respect for each other" and will remain as friends in the future.
The pair first shared an on-screen kiss on SNL and then made headlines when they were spotted holding hands on a rollercoaster at Knott's Scary Farm in Buena Park, California, in October 2021.
They then made a high-profile appearance together at a string of events, including the White House correspondents' dinner in April and the Met Gala in May.
Kardashian and West married back in 2014, but in March, the business mogul's request to be recognized as legally single was granted by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge.
The SKKN founder shares four children with the 'Stronger' rapper: eight-year-old North, six-year-old Saint, four-year-old Chicago, and two-year-old Psalm.
After going public with her romance with Davidson in October last year, there has been a back and forth on social media between Kardashian's former husband and her now-former beau.
One of the incidents involved the 'Heartless' musician allegedly sending text messages to the former SNL star, that were shared by Davidson's friend, to which he said that he was "in bed with [West's] wife".
In addition to that, in March, West received a huge amount of backlash when he released a music video for his single Eazy, featuring The Game, of him "murdering" an animated character that strongly resembled Davidson.
In the video, Davidson - or at least a graphic depiction via clay animation that looks like him - is seemingly kidnapped and buried alive.
The rapper then ended the clip with a direct message to him, saying: "Everyone lived happily ever after, except Skete" before crossing out the name and writing "you know who".
So, it's safe to assume that West is probably rejoicing in this break-up news.
