Kim Kardashian makes bombshell claim about the moon landings

Kim Kardashian has everyone talking again — this time about the moon.

During the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim suggested the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing might not have actually happened.

She pointed to “weird inconsistencies” in old photos and astronaut interviews and said she’s been diving deep into articles about it.

Fans quickly went wild online, debating whether to laugh or take her seriously.

In a chat with All's Fair co-star Sarah Paulson, Kim admitted she’s obsessed with the topic, per the Daily Mail.

She told Paulson she’s read 'a million articles' and noticed things that don’t seem right.

Her verdict?

“I don’t think we did. I think it was fake.”

She then namechecked Buzz Aldrin, the 95-year-old astronaut who was aboard that first lunar mission.

"I've seen a few videos [of] Buzz Aldrin talking about how it didn't happen," Kim continued.

"He says it all the time now in interviews."

As we'll get to later, quite the opposite is true.

Reinforcing her 'argument', she then said: "They're gonna say I'm crazy no matter what. But like, go to TikTok.

"See for yourself."

See for yourself - like, say, Buzz Aldrin did?

Kim also questioned why the American flag looks like it’s waving, why astronaut boot prints are unusual, and why stars don’t appear in lunar photos.

Online reactions were all over the place.

One said: “Kim really out here saying the moon landing is fake… okay then.”

Another commented: “Leave space stuff alone, Kim.”

A third wrote: “Not gonna lie, now I kinda wanna check this myself.”

Other fans were more supportive, with some saying they’ve always questioned the 1969 world event.

One supporter said: “Honestly, I’ve always wondered about this. Kim’s not wrong to ask.”

Another chirped up: “If anyone can get people talking about conspiracies, it’s Kim.”

Space experts won't appreciate Kim's claims

Naturally, scientists and historians wouldn't like to hear Kim's take on the matter.

Buzz Aldrin gets pretty mad about this subject and has repeatedly confirmed that Apollo 11 really did land on the moon.

The astronaut got so annoyed that he even punched someone for questioning him back in 2002.

He would know after all, having been up there, not just scrolling through TikToks on the matter.

Luckily, the specific things referenced by Kim have all been addressed before.

NASA has explained that the 'waving flag' is just physics — the flag moved when planted and there’s no air to stop it.

Stars aren’t visible in photos because of camera exposure settings, and the astronaut boot prints are fully consistent with lunar conditions.

That's cleared that up, then.

Still, Kim’s comments show how even well-known historical events can be questioned when a celebrity shares their doubts.
